Scuba diving has significant risks. The information provided in this video is supplemental educational material and does not offer a complete educational experience for any dive activity. Scuba diving requires in-person training. Specialty and advanced areas of diving require specialty dive training, equipment, and experience. Always check with manufacturer recommendations before using or customizing equipment. Talk to a certified and qualified dive instructor for more information.

Well said. Don't underestimate it. I've started maintaining my own regs since two years since I'm a tech diver and I wasn't always happy with the quality of service for the price at my nearby dive shops. I also felt it was important to learn and understand how my regs work, now that I'm doing dives where I depend on them working well.
But it does take time and attention to do it properly. Some finicky parts require careful work. And you'll need plenty of tools so the initial cost is quite high. Of course, you can amortize that over many years.
