"R.o.S.E Blue" is a game collaboration with the Korean mobile game "Girl, Café, Gun". It was written by the game's music producer Esti, who is a Dreamcatcher fan. That's why it sounds a bit different. JiU enters the crystal and frees the members by shooting them with her gun. Unfortunately, she used up all the bullets on the members and has none left for herself, so she sacrificed herself for the members. That's our leader for you. 😭😭
AWESOME! DC is my Ult Group in all of music in general because they do ALMOST EVERY genre in their B-Sides and they do Rock (and sometimes Metal) in their Title Tracks. I love most genres of music so this is the perfect group for me. Collectively the fandom has taken some guesses about every MV. In this one, it is speculated that the opening shot is of JiU's 'Happy Place' while she is under hypnosis just like all the other members. For whatever reason, some members ended up in places they did not necessarily like to be in while they were in their stupor. JiU is intelligent enough to eventually realize that something is wrong. Even while she is in her perfect world, where she gets to run and play with her friends in a field of flowers and bunny rabbits, she realizes something is just not right. The sun does not hurt her eyes when she stares into it... With this realization, JiU snaps out of the stupor (effectively self-ejecting from 'the matrix') and she goes to find and rescue everybody else. She must have been in a different building from the rest of them because there were only the five chairs where the girls were seated around the crystal. There was no extra empty chair where JiU would have been sitting and there are no guards who have been alerted to her absence. Why or how she only found a gun with rounds that are so big that the cylinder only had five chambers is anybody's guess. But that is the weapon that she came to rescue the girls with. She knew before going in that she only had five shots so she knew she would not get out herself. Or maybe she thought she could self-eject again...? None of the fans know who put the girls in the building with the mind-control crystal in the first place (unless they played all the way through the game and I have not seen any spoilers), but at least the building and room was un-guarded when JiU entered so she did not have to fight anybody or waste the ammo she had.
Love this summary and the theories thank you, especially that detail that hints something was off was when she stared at the sun and didn’t avert her eyes. I was totally drawn to what they were trying to tell us and still missed that!

They are all very deep-of-meaning so there are LOTS of little tidbits that could easily be overlooked in just a single watch-through (which is GREAT reason to re-watch multiple times, aside from the awesome music). It takes the entire fandom time to build some of the more complex theories, like with the Nightmare Series (which takes place over the span of their first seven Title Tracks). We do have some VERY HIGHLY INTELLIGENT people in the fandom (and I do not count myself among them) who figure things out FAST most of the time. I really hope I gave you enough time to think about it on your own before you found my post. :)

Yes, Rose Blue was an ost for the mobile game Girl Cafe Gun and the members were meant to represent characters in the game. I love this song, but you were right that this was not their normal producers so it has a different feel to it. It's awesome that you're going to see them live! On stage is where they shine the brightest! Just a heads up, their are seven members of the group, but there are a string of videos that only have 6 members due to one of the members participating in a audition show in China and then getting stuck in China due to the quarantine back in 2020. So, the videos without her are Scream, Endless Night, Rose Blue, and BOCA. If there's any information you would like just ask! Thank you for sharing your Dreamcatcher journey! ^_^
I'd say RoSE BLUE is a quite lucky first pick. Why? Because it's standalone and the story is fairly straight-forward. There are some minor details that are easily missed, such as butterflies representing the soul, Gahyun & JiU being sisters in-game (that's obviously impossible to deduce when just watching the video), and the 5 members representing the 5 stages of grief. The music is also far less complex than typical Dreamcatcher songs, so you don't get distracted by sudden stylistic changes mid-song. Anyway, thanks for a great reaction video!

Though I didn’t know what was going on I could piece the story together, whereas some of my upcoming Dreamcatcher reactions I literally have no clue what’s happening. Still loving it but know I’m going to have to go back and watch in order too!

I think it’s too early for me to have a bias. Still have to learn their names and who they are but I think I picked my frontrunner after recording my reactions to Fly High, BOCA and BONVOYAGE this week. I’ll save the reveal for them but I think it’ll be obvious 😂. But tell me yours?!
@@Gyubii Mine's always been Siyeon (with Dami as wrecker), but Gahyun just grows stronger ever comeback. I think her strength is that she's like a sponge, absorbing the best bits of all the others. I just wish they'd give her some more rap parts next comeback. Well, this only applies when I'm not hungry. When I'm hungry my bias is 100% JiU, for obvious reasons.
