I love text parsers. They offer a fun and unique way to explore one's creativity and cleverness. I also love old school pixel art, so needless to say I'm a big fan of Julia and her marvelous creation!
Great to see this game covered! I had a lot of fun playing it. The Colonel's Bequest from Sierra has always been a favorite of mine and it was neat to play a modern take on that type of game - mystery-adventure, text parser, and EGA graphics.
Great episode! I hadn’t been aware of the game or Julia’s work in general. I’m definitely going to get it and I expect I’ll be leaving a positive review on Steam!
I'd like to see more than just CRPGs and very retro RPG or adventure games, but I could be alone in that. The scope of the channel in that respect is fairly narrow, catering to a pretty niche audience, imo. For example, I'm a fan of Thief 1/2, Tron 2.0, Age of Empires games, some Amiga games like Defender of the Crown, and some newer games, but those would never be covered under your current setup, in terms of gameplay sessions. And rarely in terms of news stories. I know some of your past interviews and your book touch on some of this, but, essentially, I wonder if a broadening of scope by a bit could help with viewership and support. Kingdom Come Deliverance was an interesting and newer game recently, but I don't know if you covered it? Baldurs Gate 3 was popular, but nary a word about it on your channel, which I think was a missed opportunity for you. More of some newer games like those, which have a non-retro look, might be helpful to spark some life into the channel and demographic. Now, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is on the horizon You might consider putting the plea for $ support at the start of your next video or two, and on random occasion, in case some viewers drop out before watching the end of your vids.

Totally agree! As Mat demonstrates, you can have a lot of fun trying wacky inputs just to see if the dev thought of them.

Charming game!

Who are the guests you have on ? Is there a website for their software? Name of game ?
Looks like part of your question is in the description and the title of the video.
I love the Destiny's Child reference in 'You weren't ready for this jetty' death :D
