Your battery needs to adjust to your usage and you really should charge it before you turn it on so it develops a good battery memory Samsung in general has better battery than Apple at least my phone the s21 lasts better than all my Apple products my phone says it lasts a day and like 17 hours it’s actually awesome
id highly recommend you to be really careful with that phone because there has been a lot of problems with the screen wearing out on the hinge and the screen scratches super easily- they claim its glass but someone did a scratch test and it basically scratched with someones fingernail- also no im not like hating on the phone im just asking for you to be careful- low-key ive used iPhones for so many years but seeing things like the z flip makes me question if I should get it because I love iMessage its like a must have for me and being able to use find my and everything- also I have like a MacBook, HomePod, and an iPad so I feel like if I get an android it would mess everything up and make my HomePod useless

Its cool i think they revised the phones.( z flip user here) i remember seeing videos where touching the screen it would cave in a bit, it doesnt happen on mine and i got mine this year around january. Drop mine plwnty of times and its good so far. My hinge do far is still strong so far, there are people out there that say it has decreased or loosend up a bit. As for the screen i noticed a bit of scratching but it seemed to get better over time and disapeared(self healing?) I put a screen protector on for safety precautions either way. They even revised the original fold too.
it wears down quite easily especially if people use it regularly, i live in korea and almost every handphone repair shop has boxes upon boxes of z flips with the fold mark (?) on the middle and they can’t really repair it

If you compare a Samsung phone and iPhone make sure they are both on the same level. As in they came out the same year. Or it really isn't fair to compare them when 1 is older

I just disliked how apps suck with android platforms but Samsung makes pretty good phones, I also dislike how the battery life is not that good compared to my 13 pro max. I go about 1 day and a half without charging it, and my s21 lasted 5-6 hours depending how I’m on it. Lucky enough to get 8 hours
I’m completely with you on going back to my roots, I’ve really been more invested and interested in 90’s stuff. And I want this phone too!!! I’m so obsessed with it. But I just don’t like android… but I agree apple is pretty boring. But even then, just something about android I just don’t like it. But I did notice issues with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, idk if I just don’t notice it during the day, but every since I turned on the night shift, my screen flickers a bit and it’s really unfortunate for a $1200 phone. It’s not groundbreaking, but it shouldn’t be doing that. I’m not sure if I will ever be able to give up iOS for android and I can’t afford to have 2 phones so... Also, can you return your Mac?! My first phone was a samsung when I turned 18 and I used that one for a couple years and then I switched to iPhone. I used iPhone for many years but about 6 years ago I switched back to Samsung and I've never looked back. I have the s21 plus and I love it. My battery lasts me so long, I can go like 3 days without charging it if I had to. I love the customizations and overall just love samsung. I switch from iPhone due to it being very boring. I never cared much about customization but I'm just not a fan of their products. Their iPads are so expensive and never last for me. I usually get maybe 2 years out of their ipads, if that. My samsung tab is amazing as well. I love samsung on general. I wanted the z flip when it first came out but im glad I didn't, I prefer to not have the flip now that I'm older.

You can go ahead and abandon apple I won’t blame you, but please whatever you do do not buy any of Samsung’s folding phones, especially the z fold. This phone is just a gimmick and every single one of them will develop a screen crack on the inner display. It’s unavoidable. If you’re okay with a screen crease, then go ahead and buy. Just warning you because it seems a lot of people get upset that their z fold ends up with a cracked screen.
How big is the z flip in the hands when it fully opens? I have small hand so I thing the narrow design might be nic?. Also I love the Blue, it reminds me of my old S3 that was blue, my favorite phone I ever owned!
They are coming out with a new z flip. If your interested. For the newest one it’s 6.7 inches. and the older one is the same size as the new one :). Hope this helps
I have the exact same phone got it for like $500ish on ebay refurbished it has one teeny ding on it on the folded part but u would have to be right up on the phone with it folded to see it i use the ringke frosted glass case Its on Amazon u can still see stickers through it very nicely and it doesn't attract fingerprints like the clear case does but it is compatible with charms though i have 5 charms currently on it and it holds up fine also there's little black strips of tape u can peel off to keep the case onto the phone so it won't slide off my case slides cause i don't wanna stick it to the phone in case i need to clean up the actual phone but the sliding isn't too bad once u get use to it there's a slight learning curve i personally loooooove my phone and love the pure it's so beautiful

It was in the K drama it's okay to not be okay!! Also I'm not 100 percent sure if this is the case for your icons since your launcher might be different than the one on my Google pixel, but i am able to hold down on an app and customize the icon if it's not a customized one
I think the battery life adapts as you use it. I feel like with my Samsung I get at least 2 days maybe a day and a half. I think it adapts like with IPhone.

You should get the samsung galaxy watch 3, I have it and it's such a great watch I literally control everything with it (my mom has the apple watch it's nice but doesn't have all the functions that the samsung does) also it can connect to Apple and samsung devices. I got bought the samsung galaxy s21 ultra (I love it ❤)

My first phone was a flip phone when I was 19. All my other phones have been LG or Samsung. Would love to upgrade to a zflip down the road.

A pixel is stock Android. Samsung uses one ui. It's on top of stock Android.

It's a cute phone! You should get the samsung galaxy watch 3, I have it and it's such a great watch I literally control everything with it (my mom has the apple watch it's nice but doesn't have all the functions that the samsung does) also it can connect to Apple and samsung devices. I got bought the samsung galaxy s21 ultra (I love it ❤)
The case you are using is not a bad case, you just can’t have the stickers underneath it. You have to put the stickers on it.

If I could recommend a Samsung phone, it would be the Note. It's the one I jumped ship for. Went from Apple fangirl to Samsung knight for the Note 10 plus
Also forgot to add that Samsung has an adaptive battery. The more you use it, the better it gets
