I caught one (Steelhead) in Pulaski NY. Never tried eggs. Never been again, though there is a run north of me ,on the west coast now.

How long do you dry or set your eggs out after taking them out of the Ziploc bag? Thank you in advance.
Usually 12-24 hours
I’ve found, thru trial error, that the rim of the jar needs to be clean, and the lids seal much better is the lids are boiled for 2-4 minutes..if the rim of the jar isn’t clean, the lid won’t seal properly, and you’ll lose your vaccum
