Dan Vasc is a Brazilian metal singer who has worked for years to perfect this amazing voice with incredible range and seemingly endless toolbox of vocal techniques. This is certainly the best version of this song I will ever hear. It seems that this 250 year old song waited all this time for someone to put this power into its message. Dan has more than 200 videos out there done over several years as he continued to perfect his voice.

Dan is an off the charts artist. He's like no other. He is approaching almost a million subs. We call ourselves VascNation and will watch reactors who enjoy featuring him. He has over 250 songs in his catalog and the most recent one was released for Christmas "O Holy Night". Amazing of course. What a blessing that he has shared his enormous talent and gifts with us and what an epic performance of Amazing Grace sung so beautifully and powerfully with all of his heart and soul. I can't wait to go on this journey with you. There is so much more of his music to discover and there will continue to be thank goodness as Dan continues to release more and more for us. I know exactly how you feel as I get so excited every single time I listen and watch him perform and I cannot just listen to his songs once. I will replay them over and over. A side note: The harmonica Dan played was given to him as a child by his father and he cherished it very much. They were very close but sadly Dan's father passed away in 2017. He always wanted to make his father proud and stated a couple of years later in a post "I wish he could have seen how far I came in those two years. I'll tell him all about it one day." Amazing Grace was written by an English poet John Newton, he was the Captain of slave trading ship, during a bad storm at sea he called out for Mercy and his life and they came through it.. He gave his former life up, turned to God became a Preacher and was huge in the movement to abolish slavery. I think Dan sings this with the fervent passion that John Newton would have felt at finding the Grace of God... 250 years this Hymn has waited for someone to sing the Praise Loud and Proud... and Dan does that here. Dan is a Christian and is not afraid to show it....
