My wife is a salary employee who works right around 12 hours a week. If her work is done the amount of time it takes her to finish it is entirely irrelevant. Even hourly employees have no real need to work 40 hours a week if they're already spending 5 of those hours essentially just milking the clock and wasting everyone's time. That may not be a thing that happens at your place but you know it happens plenty. Hell you charge your customers by the job right? If your guys finish faster than expected do you refund some of the money to the customer? Do you pay your guys extra? Conservatives are such a joke! (c'mon man...) Try to see beyond your tiny slice of reality before you insult other people for seeing a different way to do things.
