Happy 3k subscribers! uhm, Suhyun has many English covers especially the Disney ones are my favorites. She's my favorite vocalist in kpop but there are other great ones like Ailee or the members of Big Mama (highly recommended, their killing voice is THE BEST) and for Chanhyuk, you might find more about his voice in his solo album, although he's not usually a high note singer.
I got some home to do now coco thanks to you! you dropped some great recommendations and artist im interested in. Thank you for the congratulations it was a grind to get to 3k now we are working to get to 10k and i believe recommendations like yours will help
Actually there are many artists that were or are in yg that don't have that style at all like AKMU, Sechkies, BIG MAMA are some of them but what they have in common is that none of these artists trained in yg or started in yg. I guess that helped them develop their sound and in turn give more variety to what the YG trained artists already offered. Winner is another example that doesn't sound so YG at all and even Daesung as a solo artist, YG now only has AKMU and Winner with that kind of sound.
okay okay you are actually right. I almost dont even think of AKMU being in YG but they were. Their style is nothing like what they usually have. Dang that blew my mind just now thank you lol

I can't pit queens against each other so my bests in Korea are CL, Bibi, Lee Hi, Suhyun, and Sohyang. Each perfect for a different mood because of their different vocals and styles of singing. Each of them brings out a certain feeling out of me and it's very nice to be able to choose what mood I wanna feel for the day 😂
thats why you dont have to put them together lol they are all so different and work for different moods! and that list sheeesh top tier right there. It just gave me the idea to do a tier list of kpop artist people will hate me for that

AKMU are amazingly talented. Have such great flow. Can't wait for their new album - agree it will be top. Agree not typical YG. Nice reaction. Can you react to Taeyang on fantastic duo singing eyes nose lios? Give me goose bumps every time. It is a contest. In early rounds, contestants perform songs of their gav idol in front of them. The idol then chooses one to duet with. They have 30 mins to rehearse and then perform. Taeyang and his fan - Rythmn Gangsta only came 2nd, to a more traditional song and artist. But...goosebumps every time. You gotta listen to it.

They have a diverse discography of all genres and aren't typical kpop girl style. They have been in the industry for 10 years. All have unique vocal and harmonize amazingly. also all have successful careers. Current;y all 4 members are on their personal solo world tours..
