You have palo santo. It's my favorite smoke cleanser! I've been doing altar work for years. Here's a few tips:
Cleanse your altar before setting it up
There are several different types of altars-make yours your own but do some research and find out other people's experiences with, for example, deity and ancestor altars
Having all that energy in your bedroom can cause sleepless nights. Always listen to your intuition and make adjustments as necessary
Make sure you pay attention to your energy and the energy of others around your altar no matter the location and change/ move things when items aren't giving positive vibes
Be mindful of mixing Ancestors and other deities
Starting an altar with the elements (earth, air, fire, water, Spirit) can be a great way to set a foundation for the sacred space
    KEEP YOUR ALTAR CLEAN
I have a TON of other tips but this is to just get things started ✨✨✨

On my altar I have something that represents Earth (stones/rocks/plant), Air (feathers/incense), Fire (candles), and water (sea shells and libation bowl). That's my basis. I build from there.

Thank you so much for sharing. I have been reading about alters in Queen Afua's Sacred Woman book. I have not created mine yet, but I am happy that you shared yours! My daughter gifted me some very spiritual things, including some dried lavender, for Christmas. I haven't set up an alter yet, but I'm going to work on it.

Love how you shared your personal reason/purpose of your alter. And your location is perfect for days to get inspiration when you need it.
I currently have an ancestor alter in my bedroom. I keep plants, various types of sea shell (b/c my ancestors like it, plus myself lol), & always a bowl of consecrated sea salt to help keep it energetically clean I plan on creating one similar to yours for inspiration/prosperity & a few more alters for other purposes. Much P.E.A.C.E., L.O.V.E., & B.L.I.S.S.

Right now my alter is focused around shadow work (via The Global Sisterhood). A journey which includes my ancestors, so I have lots of dark objects (dead plants) along with images of family who have passed on. I also have several candles, incense, palo santo, many-many crystals, and a water diffuser for the balance of the elements near my resting and meditation space.
I love hearing the stories behind your alter pieces and what inspires your inner work. Thank you for taking the time to share this space with us, Nico. ❤️🙏❤️

Thank you for sharing this video, it’s right on time! I’m reading “Opening to Spirit” by Caroline Shola Arewa and she suggested creating an altar in her book. I plan to create my altar this weekend💕

Hello Nico. I love your voice and your videos. Thank you so much. I would like to donate and wonder if I can do it through PayPal? Or I can help your Amazon wishlist. Any preference? All the best, Anne

You should get one of those rock tumblers for the rocks from your friends property haha. I bet they’d be beautiful
