38 WEEK PREGNANCY UPDATE: Signs of Labor, Membrane Sweep, Mucus Plug, Symptoms, Bump - Weeks 37-38

Hi friends! Fingers and toes crossed that this is my last pregnancy update and baby girl is about to make her appearance into the world! From how I've been feeling lately, it seems very possible! In this update I'll be filling you in on everything that's been going on in weeks 37 and 38, including all my symptoms, growing bump, my Group B Strep test results, how far I'm progressed by the looks of my first cervical exam, how I thought I might be going into labor during an ice storm, losing my mucus plug, my membrane sweep, and more! So happy to hear everything is going well. Can't wait to see baby! I am 37weeks 1day today and was checked, I'm 0 so jealous of your 2 lol. Baby is still high also. We had an ice storm here in Kentucky too. Lots of power outages. Suppose to also get 4 to 8 inches of snow over the next 48 hours. Glad to hear you are safe.

I just got a membrane sweep done at 38 weeks, 30 hours after my water broke! 20 hours of labor later and now I have my baby in my arms!!

Been watching since the beginning! I’m also from Oregon (Portland metro area) and the snow and ice was insane! I’m surprised you were able to drive anywhere! Glad you’re safe, a lot of power lines and trees fell, it could’ve been super dangerous!

Keep an eye on your swelling if your ankles start swelling & you get headache tell your midwife. Hart burn something means a lot of hair on your baby girl lol I had back pain labour not nice but I can't wait to see her good luck xxxx Gina 🇬🇧💐❤
