Hey Treatstar, I just finished my first playthrough of Andaron Saga on Hard Mode. Similar to how Shanebrained views Thracia 776, Andaron Saga feels like a mountain to climb but, when you get to the top, it’s a satisfaction like no other. Andaron Saga stimulated my brain - kept me on edge - in a way I haven’t felt in a long time. My compliments to you for the soundtrack, along with the rest of the team for a job well done. P.S. This game came at a time when the Fire Emblem community has been left hanging for so long. Dark Deity? Totally forgot about it until recently. Engage? We got Engage a few years after Three Houses - after the Covid-mania - which fell off the FE-radar quickly. And the never-ending hope by many that we’ll get a Genealogy remake, only to get disappointed time and again… Point being, Andaron Saga will be remembered as a high point during this “Dark Age” of Fire Emblem. (I define this “Dark Age” as starting with the COVID-epidemic, up to and after Engage). Sincerely, the work y’all did here is a service to FE fans everywhere. Thank you, guys.
It is a great game, all things considered and accounting for its flaws. Sadly, I don't think Andaron Saga will have as big of an impact as you might think. Many people won't bother to check this game out because Mangs was at the helm, and they refuse to let their pride/sense of "morality" give it a chance. People over in FEUniverse explicitly ban any talk about Andaron Saga. But maybe that in itself will spark discussion offsite (see the Streisand Effect).
@@Posby95 For sure! Believe me, I know there’s a stigma, much to my dismay. To be clear, this is the message I want to convey: it’s had a considerable impact on me, and I believe others feel in a similar way. We may not be able to share this experience with the FE community at large but, ironically, FE players are used to not sharing their experiences with their local, non-gaming/FE communities. FE has always been about riding together with a small group, compared to the big world who’s against us. That’s an encouraging thought.

I love the Chronicles version too. If there's ever a sequel, it'd be amusing if they used the second game's cave theme x) Then again, there's no pun to be made with that one.
I thought I wouldn’t enjoy that map, at a first glance. But when I heard this song, I was vibing. It may be one of my favorite maps because deleting enough portals for Helga-Galeforce is a fun challenge.
Easily my favorite theme in the entire game right there.
Loved this song since the 100k Dungeon. Really has a strong theme of mystery and resolve

The map with the best aesthetic. Music fits perfectly, though the original track is too good.
