Tried to record and edit the audio to sound as good as possible! Got another idea for the final review, also found out since that brake pedal can be tweaked to suit your preference. Finally shout out to Moza again for the hook-up. Any questions?
Enjoyed this type of content was right nice too see a more raw version of yourself, would like too see more of this, on the pedals with clutch if it’s something you’re not planning on using maybe do a giveaway if that’s something you’re up for?
the wheel comes with "silencer" pads for the shifters , on the KS wheel they are pre installed . For your set up maybe try moving the pedals forward a bit more changing your knee height
I've just changed from fanatec dd pro to thn R9 v2 with ks wheel. I'm already 1s quicker on ACC. But I use simjack pedals which are incredible for the money.
Is the spring on the break pedal not a pre-load that is to mimic the initial uptake feeling of the pads making contact with the discs? I have this on my HE Sprint pedals and dialled it out by turning the pre-load down (which compresses the spring) then recalibrating the break.
I've been looking to get into sim racing and starting at a desk and move to a sim rig in the future. I have been interested in the Moza ecosystem for a bit now. Do you think the R12 would feel better than the R9? I know you have not tried the R12 but would that possibly fix the missing feeling you have mid corner? Thanks for the review. Any thoughts you have are appreciated.
Possibly, it really depends on your desk setup right? You might want a stronger feel but your desk may not deal with it well. Personally I'd say R9 works well for desk and R12 more suited to a rig? Just my thoughts.
Guys i plan to buy thrustmaster t150 FFB steering wheel for f1 24 i am beginner i never had steering wheel what are your advises for pedals and the steering please give your comments
If you're on console, Fanatec is your only real option. On pc, go for Moza or Simagic. Pedals, base and wheel would depend on your budget you would like to spend on it.
@@SnakezF1what? Thrustmaster t300 can be used on Playstation lol. But yeah I would choose fanatec all day now after coming back to them and trying the dd+ mind blown.
@reviewforthetube6485 as a starters wheel it's fine but it's barely any cheaper than the Fanatec Ready2Race bundles. Much smarter to go for those. And I haven't heard good things about the t818 and their ecosystem is quite bad and overpriced compared to other brands too.
Most people start off with Logitech. If they like it and want to step up again, you then look at the 3 Options of Thrustmaster, Moza and Fanatec. For me Moza is the best 'cheap-ish' high-end option right now.
What would you advise as a next step: I’m on a T300 with loadcell pedals for about 3 years now and I want to go to a DD wheel. Should I go for a Fanatec or Moza?
honestly its just preference, do your own research and see what you like. moza is definitely promising because of their rapid growth but thats just my opinion
It really depends on budget. Like the logical step from the starter Logitech would be to a Thrustmaster... But I think this is a better option, as you get more quality for a similar price. Fanatec is really expensive but from my short time with the DD+, you get what you pay for.

Why you didn't bought the dashsteering wheel instead just shift lights?
The FSR wheel
Price?
Aprox 1200 Euros depending on extras.
Ooof, well that will cost me a rib or two😅
"Tom97 try not to be a 🐐 challenge: impossible"
Take a shot every time Tom says "overall" 😂
Easy fix for the chair moving is putting 2 of the wheels inside of an old pair of shoes. Helped me when i was still on a desk
5:29 so that’s what we hear from DurkChocolate during creator series lmao😂
Hey GT Omega, give the man a rig😂😂
I've got something in the pipeline 👀
Ha thought you would Tom with your recent upgrade, you use the new Clubsport DD right?

I'm afraid to use table camp at my desk, here in Brazil it's very expensive to have a cockpit.
If I use 100% it could break my table.

Came for the R9, stayed for the legs 🦵
Same package, only im using a custom made Mercedes F1 wheel, pedals and the R9 base are amazing

very informative stuff, thanks dude
Great video. Not really into racing but I enjoyed the video a lot. Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
5:00 i use a t248 and the padle shifters are louder than this lol, like extremely loud than other wheels
I have the same set. Love the R9 and the wheel. Pedals still finding the right feeling. I did put a RC shock on the throttle. Was too loose for me.
So it's not just me struggling to fully understand the brake then...
@@Tom97it is a setting in pithouse. Brake pressure point it is called. 100% is full load cell. Less is more sensor usage what I’ve read somewhere
Love your creativity, it's inspiring!
Great review Tom. This wheel looks amazing. Can't wait for the full review. Also the idea of the body can is top notch
Thanks! 👍

Hi Tom, little bit late but how did you find the 30 cm width of the wheel? I guess its more a sort of personal preference.
It kinda works, just need to get used to it at first!

I’d love a rig :(
Me too :/
What table clamp do you have for that fanatec?
I'll show it in the review.
How much was it overall ? I’m only buying my first wheel , would you recommend something else as a first and what if so ?
Base + pedals is 900 euro. Those pedals are 180 euro's.
@@SnakezF1 thanks
What I have, is around 1300, but if you don't need/want the desk clamp, brake kit or clutch pedal, you can probably get it down to 1100.
how do u stop your chair moving when racing? i find it hard to sit still when braking
I'm just good at controlling my brake input, also good chair control lol. Having a furry rug helps!
@@Tom97 thanks
Moza is as cheap as it is is the conclusion
Did u try out the f1 24 beta🤔
Nope, don't have it.
@@Tom97 bro you could play a mobile game and it has better handling than f1 24
