    I lived in Stuart BC as a kid. A remote town on the Alaskan border. The main link was a ferry to Prince Rupert called the ' Lumba Lumba'. It would be an awesome trail name

    Rode there this past Saturday; great to have another lift access option close to the capital region. Spent the day on roller coaster and hit up the natural blue as our final run. I had to double check I wasn't playing your video at 1.5x speed; so much faster than I run down the trails! Haha.

    Nice vid like usual Chris. FWIW, gopro DOES NOT do justice to some of these trails, that first roller on Natural black is ligit high consequence. And you blew through that wild rock garden section after, that section is SO much gnarlier than it looks, like no clear lines.. we went up on Saturday. Lift wasn't running so shuttled. Roller coaster is the keystone and a great trail, I liked Max's too. Looking forward to see this place develop. So much potential.

      Yeah I agree there’s tons of potential! That trail was wild too, that was my first time riding it and it’s always cool to follow one of the trail builders cuz they know all the sneaky lines.

    Went today on Levo… great management and super friendly. Did Röler Köster, Shangrila, back to Röler Köster… fun will definitely head back to see new climb trail on the left from chalet.

    Kirks Ferry was an old farming scow that the farmers used to get across Gatineau river back in the day. Could be a good name

      I think they plan on opening an easier climbing trail soon, but until then, I’ll be using the lift!

    Roller coaster looks sick, can’t wait to ride it soon! What GoPro do you use, and how is it oriented on your chest mount out of curiosity? Thanks

      I use the Hero 11 and I have it mounted on my chest with a Stuntman chest harness. I’ll do a GoPro set up video one of these days lol

    nice vid man - how you getting on with that transmission stuff now youve had it a while? makes the bike so much quieter by the sounds of it

    • @CapitalMTB
      @CapitalMTB  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So I’ve actually been having a really hard time with it. It’s mis-shifting and skipping all the time. I am in talks with sram and apparently it’s a known issue. Overall I’m not very impressed considering the price tag :(

      @@CapitalMTB oh no bud - thats not good at all!! hopefully they can find a solution for you, keep me posted as im very keen on it too going on a new SC, but will avoid if its going to be a headache as my mech x01 is absolutely perfect at the minute and just works! out of interest though issues aside, does it seem as quiet in reality as it is in on the videos? almost sounds like theres no chain slap at all with it

      Check your cable at the shifter. It could be frayed at the shifter? My Shimano XT has done it 3 times now over 2 years after I drop it on the on the shifter side of the handle bar
