I am very happy to be Canadian but it has been decades since we've had wit and intelligence on panel shows on TV or radio, sadly. Intelligence is elitist so can't have that. You should watch "Less Than Kind" from a couple of decades ago. Genuine in many ways, very funny and insghtful. During which the great Maury Chaykin died. It sneaked in under the radar.
@@granthurlburt4062 In its own way, the "Kierans, Camp & Lewis" political panel on Peter Gzowski's CBC Radio AM programme "Morningside" had both wit and intelligence. Long gone, however, but not forgotten in today's woke audio desert otherwise known as CBC Radio One.
Miles Jupp and Mickey Flanagan have long had my two favorite laughs of any UK comic (well now Fern Brady's in there as well since I discovered her a year ago)
"it's distracting, it's like being in America, you do politics about things that aren't happening" well fuck me Ian, way to perfectly encapsulate the insanity we have here in the states in a single sentence and 4 years on from this broadcast, of course it's only gotten waaaaaaaaaaaay worse
I remember that 2012 rubbish too, and I've not heard a single adherent to that foolishness say, "Boy do I feel stupid." Why does that never happen when people fall for silly prophesies?
She was very mature in her role as host. She's obviously a musical prodigy, but it doesn't follow that she should also be this good at presenting a satirical news program. She's quite gifted.
She's very good! Good presence, sense of humour, great diction and grammar, poise and kind of gorgeous. Interacts well with the panelists. She can wear all the makeup she wants, IMHO. Of course she's no Ann Widdicombe. Thank the FSM.
Why is the awesome Charlotte Church not regularly on but Victoria Coren is never off? Perhaps because of her dad and oxbridge connections...just a guess
If they are hits or not I don't know but Spice Girls Songs from 1997 Album : Spice up your life, Stop too much, Saturday night divas, Never give up on good times, Move over, Do it, Denying, Viva Forever, The Lady is a vamp. From 1998 Album:, Wannabe, say you'll be there, Become, Love thing, Last time lover, Mama, Who do you think you are, Something kinda funny, Naked, If u can't dance. Easy just read off the 2 cd cases.
If Doritos became an endangered species and the only ones left on earth were in Charlotte's arse, I would abseil in there with no regard for my safety, or the concerns of my immediate family. And I don't even like Doritos.
Jesus there's a lot of artificial colouring on Charlottle. The Pink Pounder - He'll give you a hammering in the ring. Osman reeks of someone who latches on to whatever is fashionable in a desperate attempt to look relevant. That's the fucking definition of irony, A Spice Girls Musical. She went "Uugh" after Paul's man on the van joke, never minding her crass A.I.D.S. joke. Paxman sounds like a one of those knock off games of Pacman. Donkey Cheese, that sounds like a horrible euphemism.

She is sooo sweet!
Never heard her music, yet I think i adore her!
Brilliant!! Thanks from Canada, where I could never feed my panel show addiction without the kindness of strangers on TH-cam.
steveyj75 same here , well said 🇨🇦🤔😷

Lovely Charlotte Church, the voice and face of an angel ♥
Edit: And a very sharp tongue :-)
the best part about this comment is how Charlotte herself would pronounce "sharp tongue" lol
SHHAAAEHP TYUUUUNG
"He is sitting right here" Richard Osman in his element
Richard Osman was brilliant in this.
Charlotte is delightful.
Charlotte is lovely.
Thanks for posting.
CC did a great job.
Miles has such a great laughter
There have been compilations posted of him just laughing at other people's jokes. I could watch them all day!
Miles Jupp and Mickey Flanagan have long had my two favorite laughs of any UK comic (well now Fern Brady's in there as well since I discovered her a year ago)
Wow Charlotte Church....smart, charismatic, beautiful, and can deliver a punchlime
Bloody hell...my preconceptions shattered again. Now I'll have to atone by buying some of her bloody records.
Well, no you don't. But if you feel you have to...
thank you for the upload :)))
I Want a Miles/Osman/Church supergroup.
Another fabulous celebration of the English language and British wit. Thank you, BH!
Here, here! 🥂
Immediately before this I watched the episode that Boris hosted. It wasn’t really a celebration if the English language.
@@simianinc The celebration of British eccentrics? :)
thanks for posting.
Charlotte is awesome!
Lofty Spice!
17:52 that's actually the weather reporter saying clear skies for the weekend. They really enjoy jogging in the southern part of the nation.
Immigrating to either Scotland, Wales or Ireland for the beautiful scenery is getting harder every day ..

The problem is that our method has spread abroad.
She was hosted in 2003 since 😊
oh I remember this was when the Mayan Calendar was going to rollover and the World was going to End...if only. Smooshy Comfy History. ThxBH
Mayans never said it was going to end that year, just the last year they made a calendar for.
I remember that 2012 rubbish too, and I've not heard a single adherent to that foolishness say, "Boy do I feel stupid." Why does that never happen when people fall for silly prophesies?
Mad for it
What the hell was happening at 27:35?
I think because Charlotte was 26 when this was broadcast there's less "age" stuff here then as on previous shows she was in.
She was very mature in her role as host. She's obviously a musical prodigy, but it doesn't follow that she should also be this good at presenting a satirical news program. She's quite gifted.
Audrey Pard What a horrible comment. What is wrong with you? You sound really sad.
Richard Osman has left pointless
Your sentence is missing words
Osman....what happens when veneer gets spread too thin
Huh? He’s very handsome.

Donkey cheese is made from Donkey Milk I already heard about this.
that's how aids started hahahaahahah
Rubbish
