I personally think he should've opened up to the world about his skin condition during his 1986 award speech. I'm sure the public, especially the fans would understand. It would've been a weight off his shoulders, and it would raise awareness on Vitiligo. Something like this can be very traumatic, and you can see the sadness in his eyes during those years trying to cover it. Unfortunately he was very private and insecure, which led to the media starting rumors of their own

It was probably too late by the late 80s as the media had already made up its mind he was a freak, so no one would have believed a word he said. After he disclosed it in '93, it wasn't until his death that the mainstream opinion shifted towards believing he had it. Perhaps there was a small window of opportunity in the early 80s, but it looks like the condition hadn't developed enough yet; and even then they would probably have written trash like "he claims to have vitiligo, but it was really just a ruse to cover up the fact he was about to turn white" or some other rubbish. You can't win against a propaganda machine that's hell bent on making you look bad. And that's beside the point that health matters are private, and one is not obliged to disclose them in public, although we can agree in this case it was a sensible and practical thing to do.

Trust me, the public would have not been compassionate and understanding when it came to Michael. They would have done anything to destroy his reputation since they were so intimidated by his success as a black man. Even after he did admit he had a skin condition in 1993, it was not followed by kindness from the public. So his admission was definitely not a load off his back.
The fans would have understood for sure. We have and will always support him. ❤️

Imagine dealing with several conditions whilst already being insecure from your family teasing you whilst going on stage whilst having millions of people constantly watching you. I mean you would have to be Jesus himself in order to take the amount criticism Michael took. 99 percent of people would completely break in his situation

Exactly. Some people can be hypocrites. Most of the people who criticized him for his skin disorder would have done the same thing if they were in his position. Some celebrities these days bleach their skin for fun and beautification purposes, those are the kind of people that should be criticized but no, it is someone with two skin diseases that cannot be cured easily they are still ranting about.

I remember as kids, my siblings and I sat around the tv awaiting the world premiere of Black Or White. We were surprised at how much different he looked at first (Compared to the Thriller and Bad Era), but we were happy that he was back with new music and videos and didn't focus on the lighter skin tone. (He always looked cool no matter what!) That's the way Michael wanted it to be, that we enjoyed and appreciated his talent first and foremost.

Man, vitiligo is an awful thing to have. And I’m saying this from first hand experience. Covers at least 60% of my legs arms and face. My hands and feet are now 100% white. The changes began to happen about 16 years ago, and showing now signs of stopping completely(although it has slowed).
Some people deal with it better than others. But I can imagine how difficult it must’ve been for MJ to go through it at a time when he was the most famous person on the planet. I can comprehend why he decided to make other changes overtime. But those decisions were made by a man not thinking with a great deal of clarity. May he rest in peace 🙏🏾

Michael had vitiligo. It was on his autopsy report. It was listed very high up on the report which means it was readily visible to the eye. It was one of the first things noted. It was his choice on how to treat it, no one else's. It was his business, no one else's. Besides it doesn't matter what shade a person's skin is. As Michael himself said a person should be judged by the content of their character not the shade of their skin. And the content of Michael' s character was impeccable.

Exactly, I really agree with you. Everything you wrote is just my opinion as well. It's so personal and private. This man had no privacy at all. Everybody had to tell him what to do, it's awful. Since he was a 5 year old child he only had to do what other people told him. He had no freedom of choice. And who cares? He can decide for himself what treatment he wanted or if he wanted to keep his medical records private. Why should he tell EVERYTHING to the public and that he should have justified every step in his life. Nobody does that.

To Jean, Hannah and Lucas......I agree with all 3 of you and appreciate your comments. As a huge fan of Michael and admirer of Michael the human being, I personally get in my feelings when ppl talk poorly of him, judge him and call him names. Plastic surgeries or no plastic surgery, vitiligo, BS rumors about his character....I hate and it hurts my heart how he was in such pain emotionally and physically. He had vitiligo....I’m my mind....so what. Ppl don’t take the time to think about him being called names by his own father and those that claimed to love him hurt him by their words when the only thing he gave us other than great music....was his love. For whatever reason he chose not to share his disorder with the public, that was his business and his business alone. I don’t care if his skin was turning transparently clear like glass. Why is it such an issue? An issue then and still an issue now. Besides, who would want to share when you’re already being verbally beaten at every corner he turned. I remember the exact day he passed and where I was. At that time I was on the medical staff in a local jail. I was in a room with somewhere around 75 new arrests for the day. One man waiting to be processed yelled out “Yo yo yo......Everybody STFU....Michael is dead!!!!”. All the TVs were turned up to the max and I’ll tell you, the room literally went from men yelling, cursing out officers, etc to where you could hear a pin drop. No exaggeration. Complete silence. All you could hear was the tv. The announcement of his passing interrupted the regular program that was on. Like a severe weather advisement or a message from the President. Numerous ppl (staff and inmates) began crying, myself included. Dudes that were being combative with guards just simply stopped. Everyone was put in holding booking cells without a single disturbance. They were asked to go into the cells and every last one of them did so like “obedient children”. It was like time froze. This man was loved and adored yet was also judged, criticized, betrayed and extorted. I pray he is resting well. 🕊🙏🏽❤️💔

Tbh very honest. It’s always 1985 that makes me question of whether or not he played a bigger part in turning lighter. By 87 he still was very bronze. Which means the disease didn’t progress. But I’m 85, his skin looked lightened, not make up, but skin deep lightened. Which could mean he may have bleached his skin, with the contributing vitiligo over time. Either that or he just used darker toned make up at times through
Out the mid to late 80s.

Michael's doctor in Ireland said in an interview he was offered a 6 numbered amount of money if he would give any negative information to the press. It is when you lack the mental strength to value your own health higher than your want of changing looks. For example, Michael’s nose jobs. He was never satisfied with it and kept getting revisions despite the health complications. Same goes with his abuse of prescription bleaching creams. Bleaching creams are NOT meant to be used forever. They are prescribed to help even out your skin tone. By 1991 Michael’s skin was already overall pale so when police found 28 tubes of prescription bleaching creams in his room in 2009 that is indicative he was abusing bleaching creams despite the serious health risks. None if your examples are celebrities with body dysmorphia. Getting some work done initially in your early career and regular botox / facials is not the same as continuing to jeopardize your health forever

For people who are saying they are insecure about their skin tones is okay. You don’t have to change to be lighter or darker we are created the shade given. People like Micheal had a skin condition meaning he had no other choice but to even the tone out with makeup to match the color his skin was getting or in other words kept the natural vitiligo look. We all are beautiful human beings luv u all❤️also pls do not tan or bleach every single time if you choose to lighten or darken ur skin it causes skin cancer.

Invited mostly white kids to his ranch, married a white woman, later arranged for another one to legally marry & adopt him two white children who are now heirs to his estate.

As late as 1989 and 1990, I remember Bad concert footages where he looked just like Thriller and Off the Wall MJ after he sweated off the makeup or whatever he had on - and there were no pale spots anywhere. His face structure was changing though with his plastic surgeries (chin implants, nose etc)
But he def did something in the early 90s that permanently changed his pigmentation. I think he was a troubled man with self image issues vitiligo or not.

He started having the patches during the thriller era , so yeah it definitely took more than 3-4 years for drastic change in skin colour, those acne creams and spf left a white base , and definately worsened the state of his skin . That redness on his face looked like he had harshly exfoliated his face probably due to acne insecurities he had , or had a terrible reaction to some product. It's sad that the vitiligo skipped one generation in his family and Michael was the only one who had the worst of it , Jermaine had on his thigh , and clearly it didn't spread that much lucky for him .

I agree! Michael was a really handsome and attractive Black man! I love Thriller 💘 Best way to describe his pov is: he was Michael Jackson (his trauma, his individuality) with vitiligo in a race-obsessed America. Like others, he used the FDA-approved treatment as medication. That means he'd didn't "bleach" his skin because the creams were prescribed by doctors that diagnosed & treated his vitiligo (and Lupus). All of this has been verified many times over, with candid/private pictures & even at his death. You also have to put the time period into perspective & all of the race obstacles that he triumphantly overcame. Michael didn't have the best relationship with his family & he was private. He may have had substance abuse issues but he was human & trusted people that didn't always have the best intentions! None of us know him personally but one thing's for sure is it was his skin, his body & life ultimately. This video did a good job but it glossed over Michael's experience of being Black. If you really did your research you'd see that his transformation wasn't until 20 years after his diagnosis in the 1980's and he still had patches of brown skin. A lot of people simply take pleasure in mocking the "irony" and projecting their insecurities & racism. Overall, Michael is king ✨🎶

My older sis has vitiligo and lupus. My mom found a patch on her eye when she was 12. No one could figure this out and this was the damn 80's. She wasn't diagnosed with Lupus until 1998 after my nephew's death. Hers is noticeable, but my sister is lighter in skin tone than both Winnie and Michael. No matter how you want to see it, no one understands something like vitiligo and Lupus. He was treated like a freak by the media. Why would he want to tell them the truth when he did and they still didn't believe him. I don't blame him. He didn't have to hate himself. With the world and his father constantly being on his case about his looks, vitiligo and the debilitating disease that Lupus is, were not a help for someone with a deeply scared mental view of himself. No one needs to fess up about anything. I was young when his skin was fully white and I never said anything and I was born in 96. It could be bc of my sister, but I was never interested in his looks as much as his music and the videos. He was still a black man to me. The same thing he told people many of times and they still thought this man wanted to be white. So I don't blame him at all. They wouldn't listen then, why keep repeating yourself?

I only wish we can begin to tell everyone in our circles that we love and accept them the way they look!
MJ could have had a better self esteem if he heard those words of acceptance over and over and over again!
I'm in my late 40s and grew up hearing about MJ even in Nigeria. I never really listened to his songs but of course they were regularly aired on many of our radio and television channels and I remembered well the day I noticed his skin colour change, I was somehow irritated.
But recently as an adult, I stumbled on his bio on TH-cam and I literally wept: because of how much he was misunderstood and because he's no longer here by the time the world got to understand his condition.
I wish he was here to hear some of the good things people say about him just because they had a better knowledge of his secret pains.
    Two things:
    1. Don't die in silence and don't live for people. Accept who you are, no matter what.
    2. Love genuinely and accept people irrespective of what they look like and ensure you regularly verbalise your acceptance of them.

Wait I find your explanation about Thriller era so fascinating and eye-opening. He wasn’t trying to be lighter with lightening products, he was going too far with acne scarring treatments. Just like how he went too far with his nose, he didn’t know how to stop. Because in the 70s he was obsessed with both his acne and his nose from being made fun of. This makes so much sense. But I’m just confused on when exactly the struggle went from wanting an even complexion to battling vitiligo. I thought for the longest time that he battled vitiligo since the Off the wall era based on some photos that I know now were just perceived the wrong way by the fan community. I then realized that and the fact that he wasn’t actually diagnosed with vitiligo until 1986. Is it possible the acne scarring treatments induced a more vicious spreading of vitiligo when he probably only had a few spots on his body originally? I do know there are photos of him with almost unnoticeable vitiligo on his fingertips as a child and I do know that oddly enough it’s usually the groin area where people have the most vitiligo. That might’ve been the extent for him all his life up until 1986 when he realized it was a serious condition that was spreading and needed evaluating. Which once again not sure if it was aging or was he inducing it? Either way he started out always having a small amount of vitiligo and it’s just so amazing how he was able to lighten his skin so much BECAUSE those products work best on people with vitiligo. Without vitiligo he wouldn’t have been able to become the pale shade that he became. He was evening out his scars which in turn made him lighter than it would for the average black man because he had the underlying condition vitiligo (I’m kind of repeating myself at this point but I’m just trying to understand this fully). So it seems for the most part wasn’t even intended, right? I don’t know I think he only desired an even complexion and he thought getting lighter helped, and he ended up just making his vitiligo condition look worse. It’s really unfortunate. He went from obsessively(!) evening out his acne scars to obsessively evening out vitiligo. That’s the conclusion to me. This video just changed my ENTIRE perspective about his vitiligo, acne, and lupus and I’ve been a fan all my life.

As both a fan and sceptic of MJ, I cannot believe that he did plastic surgery and applied products to his skin because he wanted to be white. In fact, when they were getting ready to script and film his documentary, he said it would be humiliating for a white man to play him.
And, kind of as a side note, the speculation of him being LGBTQ weirds me out because he clearly wrote songs about romance with girls, was openly an heterosexual, Jehovah's Witness, and married Lisa Marie Presley!!

It is a known fact to everybody in the Dermatological field that vitiligo causes pigmentation areas and patches over the skin however since Michael was in the public eye and nobody knew anything about his Vitiligo until 1993 then I know for a fact that the white glove with sequins was the first signs of the disease and he had advisors advised him that his Vitiligo would get progressively worse and would inevitably cover a lot of his surface area of skin so it was the decision to lighten the darker areas so that way it will blend in better with makeup when he applies it most people who have done this though would use Brown Makeup but Michael for whatever reason used whiter makeup and he did not change himself completely White you can see that in 1985 it was just a tiny bit lighter than he was on Thriller and then in 1987 he was a little bit paler but again not completely White and even in 91 and 92 though he was paler he was more yellow. It is common knowledge in the medical field that lightening cream was a common treatment for Vitiligo and some cases is still used to lighten the darker areas with a steroid cream. many people use it today and Freckle lighteners or skin eveners and they don't even realize they're using a skin bleaching cream to help lighten hyperpigmentation of the skin in little dots people will put a hyperpigmentation cream on that is a skin lightening cream. He made the decision to gradually lighten the rest of his body so that way when he sweat during a performance. cuz you got to understand if Michael Jackson was on stage he gave everything he had he gave 125% every single time he stepped out on that stage and he sweated more than any pop star I've ever seen in my life if you can see on the dangerous tour whenever he comes out for jam and he takes us some lessons on he's already drenched and sweat so even with the heaviest makeup and heaviest powder it would not be completely possible to have a makeup so thick that it will not be sweated off because the worst thing that can happen is him being on stage and his makeup running off to reveal the white patches underneath. So he is not lightning his skin tone because he does not want to be black he's lightening it because it was advised in by a professional and a doctor and if this is the best treatment as it will progress to the point where it will already be mostly White so he did. Michael Jackson did not hate being black and fat even though he got wider his music stayed black and very very Soulful if you look with dangerous and history it is very apparent and beautiful that he loves his race and believes it's beautiful. One thing people don't really know is Michael had a form of body dysmorphia and he was never satisfied with anything and he has a perfectionist and since he had the money and the means and the time he figured if I could have an afford a new nose and a new chin why not most and more people back in the day and even today if they had the money much all to their appearance in some way either with botox or filler in the lips. Michael Jackson towards the later end of his life hated the decisions he's made with plastic surgery and did not like looking at himself in the mirror. He ended up getting his first rhinoplasty in 1978 after filming The Wiz but he had breathing problems and he could not breathe very well through his nose and was still not satisfied with the size of it. So in 1981 to 82 he received a second rhinoplasty which is what we see on Thriller which is probably the best in my opinion it should have stopped right there he was so cute. His third rhinoplasty came in 1984 right before the victory tour and still being unsatisfied with it he opted for a fourth rhinoplasty in 1987 or 86 than ever and added a cleft chin. Then a Fifth rhinoplasty and either a mini brow lift or facelift in 1991 then he opted for a sixth and 1993. However this rhinoplasty would end up being the most botched of all and whenever they sewed his nose back up on the sides so much of his skin had been cut off and his Bridge of his nose had been filed so thinly that after they sewed the two sides the tip of it which had an implant placed underneath grocery the skin and a black hole probably the size of an eraser head was at the very tip of the nose and to his dying day that little hole never got closed and he was said to been found with boxes of boxes of nose tips when he was discovered after he passed. He would tape the tip on and his makeup artist would apply makeup over it and it was very apparent and it made it very difficult to perform on stage because of how much he sweats he would sweat it off and every place so during the history tour he would have opportunities after each song to go in the back and try his face off and make sure the tape is still on and do some touch-up powder it was a tiny little black hole that had little pieces sticking out of it. the nose tip had died and it was necrotic. He also got another facelift or brown lift or eye surgery in 1997 because in 2001 he really looked bad in 2001 they did another operation on his nose to attempt to rebuild it because it is basically collapsed and was unfunctional and they grafted and tried to close the hole but we're unsuccessful. but ended up going and building up a bridge a little bit with ear cartilage, to improve his breathing. but this revision didn't improve it much n MJ still had to breathe through his mouth alot because nomatter what they did, the size of his nostrils would remain tiny triangles. I am not just one of his fans who are defending him and saying no Michael did not bleach his skin ever he had Vitiligo and just use makeup I'm not also a fan who's saying and only knowing this one circumstance to base their judgment off of. You see I have a lot of knowledge of vitiligo because Vitiligo runs in a part of my family. My uncle's wife has Vitiligo and so does the majority of her family. She never used the cream she just covered hers up with makeup but her sister actually went through with the dermatologist advice and lighten the rest of her body with the cream in the 70s and so did my aunts mother. It is an extremely long process to lighten one's skin. It takes years and it never gets white at the most extremely light light gray. It will never get completely White it'll only just get extremely lighter and grayer and you can see after when he's performing some of the gray peeking through makeup. So yes lightening the darker areas is a treatment option for those suffering from vitiligo in the present and in the past. Your calling my aunts sister and mother a liar? So I guess their lightened skin and gray complexion isn't evidence enough. And my aunt was told the same thing by the same doctor. They said it was uncommon for as many people in the family to have it as they do, but they do. They were picked on and treated like freaks and my aunt sister and mother only wanted them to not harass them and people not to stare at them anymore so this is why they took the doctors advice and began the long process of bleaching ones skin. they really regret it now tho

5:08 - To your point about the rash, it was actually very indicative of lupus. This type of rash is a common occurrence amongst victims of lupus. It is known as the butterfly rash or malar rash.
6:07 - As to your point about the Victory Tour, there is evidence that he had started wearing makeup to cover up his vitiligo. Michael stated that he was diagnosed with vitiligo right after Thriller. Pictures of his makeup kit during the Victory Tour can attest to this. His makeup kit consisted primarily of a product called Dermablend. This is a high-pigment makeup created to cover burns, scars, and skin discolorations. Many people with vitiligo use this product as a sort of cover stick for the entire face. Due to the fact that it makes the entire surface of your skin one color, you have to use a few shades to avoid looking mask-like, and it’s very difficult to achieve a natural look. This also explains the more androgynous look that started around this time period, as you also have to provide color for everything else on your face - lips, eyelashes, bush, eyeshadow. As his skin progressively lightened, he used lighter shades of the product (which comes in tones for a variety of skin tones for a variety of skin colors). By the way, to avoid the presumption that Michael used the makeup for any other reason besides vitiligo, I have to point out the fact that there are pictures of of his glove that was stained on the inside with the Dermablend that he used to cover the vitiligo on his hands. There are also photos during the Victory Tour where you can visibly see the lighter patches on his ear and nose, likely due to visible sweat on his face
8:46 - In the picture with Ryan White, his face is clearly lighter that it was during the Thriller era

    • @void2695
      @void2695 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Picture with Ryan White very clearly shows vitiligo's progress imo. You can clearly see the line, starting at about the same height as the top of his ears, running right below his eyes and down below his nose. Nose + forehead were still the original black, cheeks & the rest of his face were light. It seems obvious to me that they were adding makeup (or, well... the stuff you mentioned) to the light parts to make them blend in with the still originally black parts, but the line is still super visible - and it is on many different late 80s photos. Same line, same position on every one of them. I think the picture at 02:06 was photoshopped like that solely to point out where the line ran at that stage, though that one might not be 100% accurate.
In fact, it's already visible on the Thriller era photo at 04:45, just not as severe - only cheeks seem lighter here, darker parts still visible below his nose, across his mouth and on his chin as well. I doubt this is due to any creams whatsoever, it all looks like advancing vitiligo to me, especially since it's perfectly symmetrical across his face, which vitiligo always is.
I think this is why he still looked his original color on the photos after 07:50 - forehead and nose actually were, but the rest was makeup. Obviously it wasn't gonna take long after this for the nose and forehead pigment to be destroyed as well, which was done before Dangerous. Vitiligo has many degrees and the worst one does make you go pale completely. No doubt that's what he got. As to why the Bad cover was so heavily photoshopped - one could assume he wanted people to get used to what was to come. And preferred making it a gradual thing instead of shocking the world by releasing a pale white image of himself right after a fully dark one.

Don’t think it had anything to do with him not wanting to be black but more so with wanting to reach a larger audience and set himself apart from the rest. The more he changed his appearance the more success he gained in the early 80s, so it makes sense why he chose to keep pushing the limit when it came to his look. It’s almost as if he wanted to be a completely different person with each album. It may have backfired later on but he gave us so many iconic looks and moments, I think he accomplished what he was initially trying to achieve.

I agree with you, doesn't downplay the significance of having had vitiligo but I think it would be stupid to aside from the skin totally disregard the other surgical "enhancements" I love Micheal though, such a unique and ethereal being

He had the most selling album of all times while his skin was black. His sale went low after the vitiligo started. His first surgery was due breaking his nose, then he needed a revision but due to lupus it never healed right. His sound was invented by him. He never wanted to appeal to white media, he always referred to himself as a proud black man.

It’s sad to see how being under the spotlight since a young age has made him feel so self conscious… but to me he will always be the king of pop/music.

Excellent Job! I think Micheal himself would approve of this. You've explained every single thing he was going through but couldn't tell us cos how insecure it made him. Its sad to imagine how sad and broken he most likely was on the inside while still dedicating himself to making us all Happy😢

I always thought MJ's transition was more gradual and linear, I didn't realise he went from dark to pale multiple times. I assumed after around 1985/86 he was tan, then from around 1991 he was pale.

Yeah that Noxema would destroy my skin too. I'm sure that's what caused the redness during the early and mid 80s. It sounds to me like Michael's face and hands were largely unaffected by the vitiligo during this time but harsh acne treatments were destroying his skin so he used make-up to cover it while his torso was affecting his torso and legs mostly. When the Vitiligo got out of control on his torso and legs he started to lighten his whole body which is why we didn't see white blotches on his hands and face, only gradual pigment changed. Michael just had bad skin. It's a shame that the media at large refused to except this truth. They just loved to make him suffer. Very shameful.

It’s a shame but when you pair it with the excessive plastic surgery, it was hard for people not to see it as deliberate rather than debilitating.

    • @hannaz4617
      @hannaz4617 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@elizabethschubert7803 He had no plastic surgery. In his autopsy they didn't find the scars of plastic surgery. The scars are normally under the chin and in front of the ears. They found only the scars he had when they placed a balloon under his burn wound, under the scull, so that Michael had more elasticity, which left him with migraines and insomnia. Michael had mostly dermal fillers from Dr. Klein, he said that in one of his trial, it's called Restylane. That was popular during that time. People don't do plastic surgery so much, because you need a long time to recover, the outcome is unpredictable, you have scars and after few years you need another surgery, and it's expensive. There are other better methods for performers, actors, entertainers, musician who are working in the public.

@@elizabethschubert7803 You are very welcome. I think he wanted to change his nose, because he was terrible teased by his father. His father called him "big nose". He had to do re-constructive surgeries of his nose, because the skin wouldn't heal, because of lupus. Have a great day, stay safe and healthy.

4:52 is when it started... It breaks my heart.
You can see he has a ton of white makeup on he wasnt even trying to use products that were his complexion...
His skin was irritated because he started using skin bleaching products..
He went to a "white person" party and wanted to be more white..
I wish you would've just loved yourself man...
    This shit kills me

Its so sad how much trauma he endored and struggled with his issues in silence because of the image of fame. He was a sensitive soul that was scrutinized and made to feel ashamed for not being perfect. He was a humanitarian and deeply kind who didn't deserve his demise. Sorry for those who were cruel to you. I wish you realized how much louder the love is for you. 😍💓You will always be a star 🌟There will never be another like you ❣️

If I was Michael, I would've used creams to even out the vitiligo too. Makeup could only do so much, especially while he's performing. He would just sweat it off anyway. On top of that, he was already wearing long sleeved shirts, jackets, etc in places where it was tropic/humid. Not to mention him carrying an umbrella. This is the same MJ that loved swimming pools, amusement parks, and traveling. You really think he jeopardized being outside because he "wanted white skin"?. Before his death, when was the last time you seen a picture/video of MJ outside with a short sleeved shirt on? Don't say "In The Closet" or "They Don't Care About Us (Brazil)" because those areas were:
    A. Shaded or had cloud covering.
    B. Was only for brief moments.

despite being a hardship for MJ, i believe God intended for every aspect of him. He was the greatest entertainer God put on this Earth and he said it himself his gift to music came from God. I believe he was a beacon for God's love and that God made him go through such a change to really show the world that we are all alike in His eyes, in the same way we see Michael for the wonderful and talented guy he was, with the same eyes, wether we are seeing him in his dark skin days or his light skin days. We see that he was always the same great guy, and that is how God sees all of us

I do believe Michael had a vitiligo. But at the same time for somebody who is not a fan of Michael Oher doesn’t know much of his life it’s kind of hard to tell them that he didn’t want to look or appear more white then he was black. It wasn’t just the skin but it was also his face that changed drastically in a short amount of time.

2:06 it's an edit Michael Jackson Multiverse did himself to show how he would like without make up. He made an explanation long time ago since many people are using it as a real picture.
