Top water fishing is the best! Nothing more exciting than seeing that fish come up out of the water for your bait! The biggest thing is don't set the hook to soon! Most people get to excited and try to set the hook when they jump out of the water... wait for the fish to come down with it and then set the hook. If you don't, you'll be talking about the one that got away.. #BigBassEnergy

I live in north ga. There’s a lake right below my house with lily pads. I caught an 8.5 off of a pumpkin lizard. They’re hard fish to catch they’re tricky. I want to see some lily pad fishing and some tips on what to use to punch through them. But I’d bet 500$ that you couldn’t catch anything over 4 pounds in this pond/ lake. I love your videos and you’ve taught me a lot. But I seem to struggle to catch fish here. They are there but they’re tricky. The deepest part is about 16 ft. But I would like to see some lily pad fishing. Especially up here in north ga where it’s cold but what to use. Keep up the good work and keep rippin lips.

Since you want to do top water, what about using a fly fishing rig. Go to Walmart, Dicks, or some other place, purchase not an expensive setup and go bank fishing. I'm not a fly person, but I think it would be interesting.
Pro tip: when your using a walking bait and you get a big blowup and miss don’t retrieve it faster, twitch the bait in the same spot you were struck and don’t reel any line in 💪🏼

So what's the strategy to get permission to fish these neighborhood/subdivision ponds. IV got a lot of nice ponds in areas like this where I live but slot of them say you have to be a resident or there's no way to easily access the pond with out going through someone's yard
