Thanks for the video. I made this and I had one problem. When I baked the jar, the green paint kinda bled through the blue and white paint where I had painted over the green with a flower. I followed all the directions on the paint for baking, so I don't know how to NOT have this happen next time. I did another and did not bake it - those were okay. Your thoughts?
I have not had that issue but, truthfully, I let most of mine air cure if they aren't ones that will be washed that often. I think this would be a better question for the paint manufacturer, they have a contact number on their site usually. So really, I don't know what to tell you.
@@PamelaGroppe Thanks for answering. I asked another painter and she said that she bakes the layers after she paints the colors. I'll try that. I have been letting them air dry for now, which is fine - I just tell whoever I'm giving it to that they should not dishwasher it! Below is a photo of my bottle I did. Came out great - thanks to following your directions. Hope the photo uploaded!
I use Plaid FolkArt enamels. I have a link in my blog post that gives the different distributors around the world for those not in the USA. Click here to access that: www.pamelagroppe.com/hand-paint-delphiniums-on-glass/
Sorry to be off topic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow lost my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Leonard Terrance I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
No, baking is not demanded. You can let them air cure for 21 days. But even then you will want to hand wash your glasses rather than use a dishwasher. A dish washer will remove the paint.
I am using the Plaid FolkArt Multi Surface paint in this video but I usually prefer the Plaid FolkArt Enamels. Here is a link to my website where I have a link to International Distributors of Plaid products. www.pamelagroppe.com/hand-paint-delphiniums-on-glass/
Brilliant work.

The Folk art enamels are self sealing. Once it is cured it will even go through the dishwasher.

Très jolie ❤
Thank you, I do love painting delphiniums!
Can you use oil paints instead of acrylics and also bake?
No they won't work on glass at all. Sorry.
This is amazing! great job. What kind of paint do you use? Acrylic would work on glass?

Beautiful, did I understood well? You put it in a conventional oven at 350 for 30 minuts?
Thanks in advance, I'll wait for your response
Yes, if you click over to the blog post I have the step by step instructions for baking.
Is the paint permanent????
Yes, this is Plaid FolkArt enamels and once cured they are permanent.
Is baking essential? Can we use water glasses for this? Without baking?

Pamela Groppe thanks so much
