Either of the two would be a great choice! If your draw length fits with both, I think you’d be happy either way. I encourage to you shoot them both and see what you like best.

great video. Had a blast at the PA Total Archery Challenge, new to archery but had several months to practice specifically for this type of stuff..... up/down hills, wind, distance, uneven footing, triple checked my 3rd axis. Learned that even if you are really new and did not have the time to practice for this stuff (or bringing someone new to archery) GO to this event! the courses I did you could safely/easily just walked up closer without holding groups behind you up at all... kinda regret not signing my wife up for the Prime course (50-120 yards) we both figured it would suck with a 40lbs bow (70 yards max if she uses her bubble as a pin)
Haha, I’ve honestly owned more Hoyts than I have Mathews! They’re both great companies that make great bows. I love shooting them both, but the RX-5 is by far my most favorite Hoyt I’ve owned.
That’s what I’ve been shooting the past few months, it’s definitely a good release, simple, works well, has micro adjust, and gets the job done. I’d say the Truball HT has a cleaner feeling release, and is quieter as well. However the Ultraview Hinge is still a good option and is very fool proof. - Micah

Mathews makes great bows, I just loved the new cams that Hoyt came out with this year. It’s by far my favorite Hoyt I’ve ever owned. With that said, it doesn’t make the Mathews any less of a bow. You can’t go wrong either way.
Just a fun target shoot! These are all 3-d foam targets so no wounded or lost animals here. It’s definitely a good test to know your limits for real life hunting scenarios.
Yeah no that’s not true……keep practicing, you’ll get there. It’s all about shot placement. All the deer in Oklahoma have a pretty good sense of direction, they don’t get lost.
LOL.... can't you see their not being stealthy, their not in tree stands or in blinds and no feed stations....the animals are foam plastic their not lost and you can't really wound them, they don't bleed.... its a fun competition, an exercise of improving your skills with your equipment not representative of realistic hunting distances..😂
Looked like a challenging course. Some awesome shot set ups. Had to be a blast.

Bring lots of arrows and have fun!!! Look at what you want to hit and stay strong through your shots regardless of angle, footing, pin movement, etc.

The Truball HBC is very similar that you can still buy new, otherwise truball makes the HT hybrid that is very similar to the original HT.
