I did some basic math and this is what I found. It took nearly 0.75 seconds for the ball to travel from one end of the court to the other side. Considering that the approved size of a volleyball court is 18 meters or 59 feet long that means that the ball needs to have been travelling at around 24 +/- 2 m/s. That's equivalent to 86.4 km/h average. However let's consider something even more extreme, that the serve took 0.5 seconds to travel that means it was going at a speed of 36 +/- 2 m/s or 129.6 km/h. That is insane, however just to verify my results I'm going to take the average of both speeds which is 108 km/h. That means that this serve was travelling at around 108 km/h which is not that fast as compared to the serves listed here.
