16:20 The reason Rulkallos didn't send a tearlaments card for the negate is because it has to destroy the activated card. White stone activated in the GY where it can't be destroyed, that's why Rulkallos negated it but didn't send a tear card.
I don’t use them but I fought against them a lot so I do understand how they work also how to beat them but it depends on which deck I use and my hand. Atleast I know that effort does not work on that type of effort.

The little figures actually remind me a lot of Capsule Monsters from early on in the original series so why not something like "Capsule Monsters: Master Duel Edition"? Or just shorten it to "Capsule Duel"? Either way this is a super cool idea you came up with! I personally love it.
Fun first episode. Might be an idea to actually pull two main cards and make a combined deck of the two per episode. Would be cool to see how for example you would make a Dark Magician/Exodia deck. Would in my opinion also increase the creativity and difficulty of the challenge. I'll be watching either way!
That Tearlaments definitely uninstalled after that loss. Winning with Neo Blue-Eyes is such a fun way of winning. I summon mine with Greater Polymerization. Neo Blue-Eyes becomes immune to destruction and does piercing.
