The drum is called a Djembe Is sounds like.... Jim Bay .. It is an african drum they play those in africa, There are videos on here to teach you how to play it, My hubby was a african drum teacher. He is a drummer and plays all different kinds of drums even rock and roll. I have had so many drums in my home lol. I could probably get my hubby to play a little and I can put it on my very small channel lol. The one you have is a budget-friendly option with a synthetic skin on top, so it has a lighter, hollow sound. The more expensive Djembe drums typically use animal skins like goat or cow hide for their drumheads. Goat skin is quite common and offers a warm, resonant sound, while cowhide is thicker and produces a deeper tone. Each type of skin can give the drum its own unique character and richness
