I hear you, LT office visit for me as a foreigner to get my driver's license was not too bad, just lots of waiting and hot. But the good thing was, since I already drove in the US and I was born here in Philippines, I did not have to take any test.
When I got my drivers license, I just paid somebody out in front of the building and they were able to expedite everything for me. It was cheap and fast.
How is your experience with the Land Transportation Office in Philippines? 😂😅
I got my DL years ago, was very easy, although did take about 3 hours.
Renewal is very easy, done at the mall in one hour. Good for 10 years.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Maybe we will have more luck next year when we go there again.

I know I have done this many times.. They said they'll have a card or a piece of paper within a year.. So far is never happened.. On time..

Yes, that is one way how to do it :) We didnt know who to ask, would do the same if I could.
I renewed my drivers license in September 2023....and still waiting for plastic
The card shortage is nationwide and not a normal circumstance....but then what is 'normal'. 🙂
Haha, I see similar experience all around the PH. Oh well, it is what it is :)
Driving on the wrong side of the road doesn't help :)
So true :)
How come the LTO cannot produce plastic drivers license but the Pasig river is full of plastic??????????
Haha, this is a million dollar question and I do not know the answer! :)
