- Controlled Demolition, Inc. (CDI) of Phoenix, Maryland, USA (acting as Explosives Subcontractor to Main Demolition Contractor, Hepaco of Charlotte, North Carolina) performs the preparation for and successful explosives felling of one (1) banded, 120' tall radial tile chimney in Jonesville, South Carolina on Friday, March 24, 2023.
Oooooo! The things I could build with that nice brick!
Whao 👌🏻 If I did not see it I would not believe it 🎉. This is what I've been waiting for a long time to happen. I don't think that it is possible to have a smaller footprint for the demolishing of a chimney than this. Congratulations on an excellent job🏆🏆🏆
Glad you liked it!
Love these videos!
Glad you like them!
What a tiny debris field. Great job!
Thanks for watching!
Dropped that chimney like a bad habit. Very cool
Wow, with all the vines covering the thing it must have been out of commission for ages. Nice toppling.
Yes it was
I would have saved those vines, and put them on my house 😃
Another satisfying implosion CDI, a hazard has been eliminated and the view is improved for the community
I'd love to have the bricks, even the old mortar, the possibilities are endless LoL

Excited when I get to be on yet another video!

That was a nice simple demolition; thanks! And it was great to see in comparison with your larger demolitions over the years. Fred Dibnah bless him would have demolished that stack in less time and with no explosives.
I dont think so,Fred would spend days jack hammering a hole in the base and replacing with wooden piles as he went. He would spend up to a week depending on size preparing to topple a chimney.
@@samskeeter1it would have taken frank 30 mins stop capping
Looks like on that last video of the chimney going down, looks like that old chimney took one more inhale through the intake near the bottom and blew it out the top.
So long old chimney ,
next!
I love these jobs, big or small.
Glad you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching!
Timberrrrrrr

One of these days I want to see a face appear as your camera person leans down to shut the camera off after the shot! Lol
big or small C.D.I. does them all.
Thanks for watching!
Easy
You don't even know how to announce the detonation properly. "FIRE IN THE HOLE!" 3 TIMES or a siren preceding the blast and countdown from 5.
