very nice! for the robo make sure to put much clutter and 1/3 of the enclosure should be sand. also the minimum wheel size for robos is 20cm according to German care standards xx
great video , the new enclosure looks so good [ your dad did a superb job ] . i keep robo hamsters and can suggest that one third of the enclosure be sand either loose on the ground or as a large sand bath .they also like lots of hides , there are so many great youtube videos on robo's to watch that will help you in their care .
For robos , make sure to have things very low to the ground, because their paws are furry instead of bald like the Syrians, so they can’t climb well, also for the wheel, if you add an acrylic smooth wheel it might be hard for your Robo to control! So try a wheel that is easier! Or textured!❤🎉 😊
Thanks for the advice, very helpful!☺️ The wheel I have in his enclosure does have ribs on it so it’s not completely smooth all the way around, but that is great to know and I will keep it in mind! I worry abt cleanliness with a cork wheel so that’s why I choose the acrylic ones. Chip tends to get his wheel quite messy.
This was such a thorough tutorial. Did you put the epoxy on the bottom for easier cleaning purposes, or for sealing in your logo? The logo is a fun idea, smart dad you have 😊
I wanted to use glass for my diy enclosure, but I can’t find an affordable option for the size I need. Are you having any issues with the bedding sticking to the plexiglass? Another creator mentioned that plexiglass always has that issue
I have not had much of an issue! I have not used glass before so I wouldn’t be able to compare, but I have found that different bedding dust levels can make a big difference.

Thank you and yes he is☺️ The epoxy is mainly for cleaning purposes, but it’s a benefit that you can seal almost anything in!
