I LOVE what you wrote about Aquarian individual and collective. As an Aquarian sun, I was always curious about how Aquarius can represent both the individual and the collective in astrology. Your illustration of the lemma and the dilemma and the explanation that "the dance of the Aquarian energy is being part of a community part of a collective part of a tribe part of a family and that gives us the strength to be as unique and different as we want to be or can be," makes perfect sense to me, yet, when we Aquarians are the eccentic, unique individuals in our personal "collective," it is difficult to be accepted for what we bring. But it is POSSIBLE for it to come to fruition. My Aries brother and I had barely spoken to each other for years because of differences of perspective --he is southern Baptist, and I am the weird one who did a dissertation on communication with the dead and other such beliefs as a source of solace for those who are in bereavement or who fear death. (My NN is in Scorpio in the 4th house). But I know when people have questions about the afterlife, or the meaning of life and death, or difficulty coming to terms with something related to it--and even wondering about their purpose and their beliefs, they call me. "You're the only one I can talk to about this," or they are struggling with what they really believe. As an Aquarian, I have gone thru that struggle just out of looking to the future and not from personal grief. So at age 7 I began that exploration (futuristic destiny), and as an astrologer (I now have transit Uranus at my MC and progressed Mercury, and my own astrolger said that at my current age, I could be doing astrology full time or in an important way--I write about it), people ask me to give them guidance. Me the weirdo, me the eccentric, me the one with the grand cross in my natal chart. Ha. My struggle was possibly to prepare me to help them with theirs? But mine is never ending--the roller coaster of a life of the pinball (ricochet) from planetary alignments that connect all my fixed signs. I wait in anticipation every month for your report, and would love to do your courses, if my life were not in constant flux and upheaval these days. And I will at some point find time for learning from you . Maybe when I retire in a few years. Thanks for your time and the gift of your videos.

OMG...I feel as though I am being petrified and dissolved at the same time. Yes, resistance is futile. Is grief even productive? I'm being left behind while all that i have valued is drifting apart like a cloud in a hot wind. Grateful for the time and energy you spend for this online community Rick. You are important and your light is needed! My plan was to attend your in-person astrology conference/retreat at breitenbush hot springs. Sadly it looks like the fires closed breitenbush down till they rebuild. The idea of attending a conference with you at an awesome hot springs with like minded people sounds like heaven on earth. Till then I will try out your string suggestion and hope to manifest joining you in the future for my first in-person astrology retreat. It will be worth the wait. I sooo wish I was at Breitenbush Hot Springs now... I've taught there the beginning of January for the past dozen years. They are rebuilding. They will be back. I will, hopefully, be doing my astrology retreat in Bali later this year, date to be determined. We'll meet at one of these events. We all need to have patience.🪐

Yesss Rick. Very eloquently and articulately put. Sitting in for your forecasts is much akin to sitting in on a university lecture. Your references to the English/Latin entomology bring more meaning and understanding to the energies and their geometric dances - and how that impacts sentience. Love it. Will be looking at your pateron and astrology courses once I return to work in February- in the meantime I will be hiking the NZ alps and the astrological dates coincide with my own travel dates.. no such thing as coincidence. My own natal Mars falls in Taurus and natal Saturn in Aquarius. That obstinate dogged determination is slowly learning balance and sleeping with trust, lessons in letting go and channel the effort only where needed. I put myself on the waiting list for Foundations 2 and wish you the very very happiest of New Year's. I don't think I would've gotten through all the trials and tribulations if it had not been for your most sagacious of advice! Blessings to you always. My Jupiter and Saturn are both in Aquarius in my chart and so this whole studying of the stars feels as if I have 'come home' at last to the right tribe or group of fellow star gazers. I find it interesting how many of today's astrologers perceive only the negative aspects of Mars (aggressive & war-like) while ignoring the more positive aspects of Mars (a focused determination, rapid progress, and energetic drive). I wonder why that is.
Totally agreed! But it's so easy to focus on the negative with so much misdirected anger and fear running rampant. Nevertheless, as a multi-Aries, I understand the positive side of Mars.
Forever grateful for the work you do and insights you share Rick. Being a member of this virtual community was a guiding force (lighthouse) for navigating through this last year. I have yet to attend any astrological in-person conferences. My plan was to attend your conference at breitenbush hot springs but sadly it looks like the fires from last summer forced them to close till they rebuild. 😔 Soaking at natural hot springs is in my top 10 most favorite activities and astrology is high on this list too. Just the idea of learning more about astrology and then soaking at night looking up at the stars with like minded people sounds like heaven on earth. One day! I have had really radical and positive things happening to me, be it an aspect formed between transiting Mars and Uranus or my natal Uranus aspected by Mars. I do not think I have ever experienced anything ´bad´during Mars-Uranus aspect. (Perhaps I have forgotten.)To name just a few, I had a single big operation (surgery) 25th April 2014 (the date was not planned) which totally transformed my life for the better. Just like that! On the day, transiting Mars was 13 Libra and Uranus 13 Aries (not forming aspects to any natal planets, though Uranus was transiting my 7th H, Mars my first H). When young (a long time ago), I got my first boyfriend when transiting Mars conjuncted my N Uranus. He was someone every young girl in my home town had a crush on. I was a quiet and pretty girl with boring clothes. However, my natal Uranus is in my 12th house. I phoned this guy and he suggested a date a few days later. The meeting took place just as transiting Mars was conjoining my N Uranus. It was prior to a New Year´s Eve. When I turned up together with him to New Year´s celebrations, the "in" youngsters just could not believe their eyes when saw this cool kid of the town with me, the nerd type of a girl. That really was a very Uranian thing that took place. Wonderful, striking, getting people gasping their breath, not believing their eyes. Well, firstly and foremost, I could hardly believe that it was really me it was happening to.Uranus is 100 per cent magic! (I have my natal Venus and Mercury in Aquarius.)

On my birthday 2020, the exact conjunction happened between Sat/Pluto. This year it's the New Moon and the other stuff, but it definitely seems lighter than my last birthday. Who knows what exactly might play out, though... Wonderful, clear interpretation of the planetary positions, energies and interactions. Loved the very original observations, such as the 3 personal planets ingressing into the new sign at the same time and also the order in which the other planets will be aspecting Saturn first and then Jupiter. Grateful for the time and energy you spend for this online community Rick. You are important and your light is needed! My plan was to attend your in-person astrology conference/retreat at breitenbush hot springs. Sadly it looks like the fires closed breitenbush down till they rebuild. The idea of attending a conference with you at an awesome hot springs with like minded people sounds like heaven on earth. Till then I will try out your string suggestion and hope to manifest joining you in the future for my first in-person astrology retreat. It will be worth the wait. I sooo wish I was at Breitenbush Hot Springs now... I've taught there the beginning of January for the past dozen years. They are rebuilding. They will be back. I will, hopefully, be doing my astrology retreat in Bali later this year, date to be determined. We'll meet at one of these events. We all need to have patience.🪐

Yesss Rick. Very eloquently and articulately put. Sitting in for your forecasts is much akin to sitting in on a university lecture. Your references to the English/Latin entomology bring more meaning and understanding to the energies and their geometric dances - and how that impacts sentience. Love it. Will be looking at your pateron and astrology courses once I return to work in February- in the meantime I will be hiking the NZ alps and the astrological dates coincide with my own travel dates.. no such thing as coincidence. My own natal Mars falls in Taurus and natal Saturn in Aquarius. That obstinate dogged determination is slowly learning balance and sleeping with trust, lessons in letting go and channel the effort only where needed. I find it interesting how many of today's astrologers perceive only the negative aspects of Mars (aggressive & war-like) while ignoring the more positive aspects of Mars (a focused determination, rapid progress, and energetic drive). I wonder why that is.
Totally agreed! But it's so easy to focus on the negative with so much misdirected anger and fear running rampant. Nevertheless, as a multi-Aries, I understand the positive side of Mars.

Soaking at natural hot springs is in my top 10 most favorite activities and astrology is high on this list too. I was typing some thoughts on this months upcoming transits & my keyboard was set to Spanish, so as I typed January with an exclamation point, it came up as ¡January! I have had really radical and positive things happening to me, be it an aspect formed between transiting Mars and Uranus or my natal Uranus aspected by Mars. I do not think I have ever experienced anything ´bad´during Mars-Uranus aspect. (Perhaps I have forgotten.)To name just a few, I had a single big operation (surgery) 25th April 2014 (the date was not planned) which totally transformed my life for the better. Just like that! On the day, transiting Mars was 13 Libra and Uranus 13 Aries (not forming aspects to any natal planets, though Uranus was transiting my 7th H, Mars my first H). When young (a long time ago), I got my first boyfriend when transiting Mars conjuncted my N Uranus. He was someone every young girl in my home town had a crush on. I was a quiet and pretty girl with boring clothes. However, my natal Uranus is in my 12th house. I phoned this guy and he suggested a date a few days later. The meeting took place just as transiting Mars was conjoining my N Uranus. It was prior to a New Year´s Eve. When I turned up together with him to New Year´s celebrations, the "in" youngsters just could not believe their eyes when saw this cool kid of the town with me, the nerd type of a girl. That really was a very Uranian thing that took place. Wonderful, striking, getting people gasping their breath, not believing their eyes. Well, firstly and foremost, I could hardly believe that it was really me it was happening to.Uranus is 100 per cent magic! (I have my natal Venus and Mercury in Aquarius.)

On my birthday 2020, the exact conjunction happened between Sat/Pluto. This year it's the New Moon and the other stuff, but it definitely seems lighter than my last birthday. Who knows what exactly might play out, though... Wonderful, clear interpretation of the planetary positions, energies and interactions. Loved the very original observations, such as the 3 personal planets ingressing into the new sign at the same time and also the order in which the other planets will be aspecting Saturn first and then Jupiter.
