pretty nice video, and good job on the RC. But some of your clips are pretty long for what they're worth. 2:20 - 4:35 is just you driving on the table. not the most exciting. otherwise awesome video!
hi, feedback is always appreciated good or bad, its the only way I know, thanks
Seriously especially if you love them i just randomly found it but hell yeah bro great job
3d paribting is the key
Hahah
Iwas planing to upgrade a cheap rc toy but when i see he is using 3d printer and i say nahh just forget it😅
Great video! Toy grade RC to hobby grade. I just bought a beautiful Jada ‘89 RC Batmobile. Stock, it’s just a slow toy. It’s gonna need an upgrade. I was thinking about just custom building a new chassis, and attaching the shell. Maybe just. Motor upgrade will do. Thanks again.
thanks, ok after doing this one i would highly recommend a custom built chassis and just using the body
There’s a 3rd option IF the stock motor is a standard 3v... www.tamiya.com/english/products/15186/index.htm. Motor-only upgrade!
Was the voltage of the new motor and battery the same as the stock ones? Did you keep the original computer or did you change that out too? I’m wondering because I’m trying to figure out how to go about my own project without frying anything.
hi, its a new battery, motor and speed controller, the only original electronics left in are the lights, its a 2s battery so 7.4v, hope this helps
Your video makes me want to own a 3D printer ha ha. Cool video anyway.
thanks, yes i would highly recommend getting one, they are a lot cheaper than they used to be, i got my creality ender 3 off ebay about a year ago for around £165 with minimal assembly required, was up and running in a couple of hours
Hey man keep making videos
Hi, I don't know if you still reply, but how did you install the battery into the car? I'm just asking because if you soldered the + and - power cables to the battery, you couldn't charge it. Forgive me if I seem stupid, but I'm new to using rc cars.
Am only here cus a store near me had one and I enjoyed it
Where can I get the spur and pinion at?? Looks like a great upgrade for my Losi 1/24 clone
11:25 :))))) you are crazy!!!!! top video ... i have the same car at home(my 3years old son) and he ask me ,why his car doesnt slip so nice as yours????;)
I see a lot of these videos on upgrading old RC's but there isn't a list of the parts in the description. I have an old RC which is from my childhood and it doesn't work. I want to change out all the parts, batteries, engine etc. including the remote. I own a soldering tool, but I don;t know where to start. Could you list the parts that you used in this video? I see that you bought new stuff, albeit there isn't a detailed listing of the parts and instructions.
hi, the parts are really specific to the model, they are designed to work with existing holes, im working on another video like this and i will put a link to the car and all the 3d files, hopfully it will be done soon
@@A-tech That'd be great. However, are "3d files" the same as the retail-brand listing with possible Amazon link or purchasing option to a RC-retail website? If you were to list the parts in your description linking directly where one can buy them, juxtaposed with your instructional guidance this would set you apart from the rest. It would be both interactive, as well as useful to the end user.
About your comment, "designed to fit existing holes" .....
From what I have gleaned from the videos I have watched, it seems existing holes (including the frame & chassis) can be modified to fit the part. In other words, a hot-knife or mini-saw can sear or cut larger openings to accommodate the part. Isn't there a "universality" in the parts to all RC's. Like a basic structure that they all follow?
I considered buying a new RC close to mine in size and just transferring the parts to mine. Or, of course, I can just build it up from scratch.
Hi, that sounds good, i would really like to make my own cars from scratch and then do some kind of kits with some or all of the things needed and sell all the things myself, say if people wanted to print their own parts they could just perhaps buy the electronics and the 3d files.
yes you can do it like that, surprising how strong glue gun joints can be, there is a second part to this video im not sure if you have seen, the whole chassis is redesigned and printed, i think the only original part left on the car is the body shell and tyres haha,
there is also another new one im starting on over the xmas holiday, making an rc car using an 18v drill based on this car
Great vid!. Can you tell me the sizes for those gears and where'd you bought them?thanks!
hi, i cant remember the amount of teeth but they have a 3mm inside hole, hope this helps
can you pls tell me what is esc and how to connect it with normal rc car remote? and how to use that.
hi, its a brushless esc for the motor, the rc car remote is a standard off the shelf transmitter and receiver, thanks
Hi, I love your content. I hope you achive you goals. One question, what is the 3d printer that you used?
@@A-tech This will help. Also... What a couincidence. i was looking up on youtube good budget 3d printers and it was the exact same that i decided to buy that you told me. Btw did you have to use G code to programe the 3d printer?
@@oscarjusinski8078 ok great, its a good printer, no the slicer software can manage all the gcode so its like printing a document, the slicer i use is ultimaker cura
Hey there I was watching this video and seeing how you were able to make a cheap rc car better I was wondering if you can maybe help me with a cheap rc project that I’ve been stuck with if not no worry 🙏🏼
What size scale motor u use thinking of doing my sons 1/20 scale car
hi, its a 2030 motor, not sure what it would normally be used in, hope this helps, thanks
I will do this but when i saw the 3d prinTer HAHAHHAHAHAHA BOOM NO AARON YOU don't have 3d printer HAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Any chance of getting the STL's so I can print and give this a whirl, please?

@@A-tech Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but the link doesn't work? I've added my email too so you should be able to send things through directly. :) thank you.
Halo..where can i get the yellow item for mod..and what the name of those item
hi, the yellow items are bits i designed and 3d printed to replace the existing parts, i would say they are different for different cars but if you have the same one i could print some more and send them or send you the files for you to print your own, thanks
A-Tech hey is there any chance you could send me the files so I can make them I cot the exact some style of frame work and have been doing this to a little r8 car one I have but need some yellow engine holds I got a friend with a. Threedee printer I can use
Anyone else notice how he made that thing awspme
Plz give links to spare parts like motor , gear , holding etc
Have you made these 3d files available on any website?
hi, i think they are public on my tinkercad page, my name on it is A-Tech, thanks
keskin sırke küpüne zarar
Where did you got the 3d print files ?
@@matigon1662 ye sure, www.tinkercad.com/users/9njWZn2ZPlc-a-tech thats my tinkercad page, I have made the designs for them public
@@A-tech appears empty to me 🤔 I am gonna wait till I can get on pc, thanks
@@matigon1662 hi, you may need to be signed in on the website for anything to show up, thanks
I have just bought one from home bargains it was only £ 8.99
hi, they are mostly 3d printed parts, il try and find the motor and esc and put a link to them in the description
Link for motor

I love how that ambulance just randomly passed by as the RC car had an accident, LOL!
