You look gorgeous! I love the 50's style dresses & petticoats! This is not me feeling sorry that your blind but that I wish you could see how beautiful you look! You would make a lovely 50's clothes model 💞💞💞

Well.. Why does anyone care about their appearance? Not only can it feel essential in this society, but it's also a fun hobby for alot of people. Style can tell you alot about who someone is. Your style is so lovely and genuinely feels like it's just so unapologetically you ❤️

Thank you! Very true. I'm glad we are talking more about authentic expression now, so people can feel more free to be unapologetically themselves. :)

I think it's wonderful that you dress up and love yourself enough to do all these things that others take for granted 🤗 Lotsa love

I think everyone should wear what makes them happy. If it's loose clothes awesome! I think it's very much whatever feels best to you. :)

I dress up often to and honestly I dress my guide dog up also I so I can be taken seriously I mean like you said that sometimes at home it’s pjs but going out especially if it’s for something fun I will dress up and have had a shop on Etsy design some great vests for Maui that are not only functional but gorgeous and the thread is raised so I can enjoy them along with sighted people

Humans are social creatures, and part of that is also being tribal. We've always altered our appearance, as long as we've had blades, clothing, or face paint.
Sometimes it's to fit in, for acceptance from our social group, sometimes it's to distinguish ourselves from another social group.
Sometimes it's to transmit some sort of message to others in or outside of our social group, just like other animals marking territory or releasing pheromones to deter or attract others of their species. This is the basis of altering our appearance. It has evolved over time, as human society has.
Empires dictating who can wear what patterns or colors at what occasions, symbols or gems sewn into garments or shaped into metal, how to wear your hair at what age, how much blush is too much. These rules have always existed, but they've also always been evolving. That's simply what's happening now, with more and more people embracing aesthetics and altering appearances because it's what they like.
