Lots of people pooh-pooh meals in a can like chili. (Down here in South Louisiana, another thing that some people look down their nose at is roux in a jar.) Well, if someone doesn't like it, then they should feel perfectly free to not purchase it or eat it. If no one was buying the stuff, they would have quit making it long ago.

I'd say post on Christmas. It feels like a present and we're all at home for the most part anyway. And if anything you can do a Christmas special every year. Just have the video ready so you don't have to knock it out in the middle of the week. Love what you do brother. You truly are my role model

Very happy that you are showing updates on this build. Its great watching you build real, solid, plum structures in the woods. That's hard damn work already, but you do it in the woods while its raining; 10x difficulty. Co dependant... just survived stage IV cancer. Not its back at it. My wife was on the beginning of the radiation therapy program that saved me. And you kept me going.

Suggestion time: A fold down bed & even a small table & seat, that is hooked up to the wall when not in use, would give you more room. The bed, table, & seat can still have legs that come down if you want the extra support. Sometime you may need it. You will want shelves on one wall, maybe the short one for your stuff, your games & such, a small TV on the wall for your games. etc... All the under the fort stuff sounds great, and doable! Any plans to add insulation at a later date? Any plan for the stuff you catch/kill? Like a cooler? BTW, are there bears where you are?

Being a former Navy Seabee watching this just reminded me of so many deployments and field training exercises; the steady rumble of the diesel engine in the background, the rough plywood, the rough on-site meal preparation, cue in the enemy forces advancing and taking shots at your post, love this video, thank you. Your meal looks awesome, beats an MRE from '93,, old, cold chili, rice, Tabasco, and all the extras they packed in there.

As I mentioned to my wife 26 yrs ago ,I'm more prepared than a boy scout, and if I can't build it we probably don't need it. I'm now 55 and still learning new skills such as what this channel has to offer so thank you.

Christmas Eve is the day I go with my American legion and American legion Rider brothers and sisters to deliver gifts to all the veterans and hospice, life cares, nursing homes and things like that. Christmas I'm not doing anything and the day after Christmas I'm staying home cuz I do not like the big crowds so anything you want to do is fine with me I just enjoy your content. I actually learned things from it and I see you doing things that I want to actually try to do and I do get notifications through TH-cam email and all that so any day is fine with me.
