Why is Carrie the best man? Stanford is the bride and Anthony is the groom, so surely Charlotte would have been the best man, since she’s Anthony’s friend, not Carrie. The one thing I hate about SATC is the way the dynamic of every friendship is built around Carrie, who is the worst and most selfish friend of all of them. She chats absolute shit and is only interested in herself, how many times did she need a kick to remember to be a decent friend to the others!
Anthony’s brother is his best man, they both have a best man since they are both grooms (or brooms if you prefer).
The entire show is based on "Carrie's" memoir- HER POV...that's why. Have you ever read a memoir? A memoir is a mini autobiography about a specific period in a person's life. Auto means self.

Idk but when I was in school, I was always around with gay guys, they never was so close to me like my female friends, but this is just because I am a woman. But we have had a great time together and when they had problems, I was always there. I once got 2 tickets for the Spice Girls. Someone couldn't go and asked me instead. I asked my gay friend to join me and with him it was the time, I had, because he had really fun with me. I knew that he would feel really good there at the concert, because he liked them. I did not ask my female best friends. I preferred him. But despite from fassion queen Carry, I am just an average girl. So maybe it is because of that, that I never missused my friends - no matter if they are gay or not. But I totally get you. I hate Carries narcissistic attitude. I like the movies, I really like the show, and I’m so grateful for these videos, but God, I forgot how crrrrrrringy it all was! The book isn’t cheesy though. I would recommend it to fans of the show even though it’s pretty different.

I was disappointed that Stanford was wearing a suit. In the first movie when Carrie was trying on wedding dresses, he said he wanted something like that but poofier and bigger so the suit was a letdown.

We never see them get together. There's a scene in the first movie during the new year montage where it's clear they are now good friends and then kiss at midnight but I didn't think it was romantic, just a new year's peck. I'm not sure where them getting married came from.
