I follow you, all I rewind is the result strong spark and bad smell...3 times rewind are all failures,,,,copper wire turn is 22...at first, then 22/22 at second slot...
Sorry it didn't work for you Albert, although I commend you for trying it many times. I do hope it works for your other types of power tools, anyway thanks for the constructive feedback. I will strive to better my future videos.
Hello friend, good video, I need your help for a question. I have a metal cutter armature with 18 turns per slot with 18 gauge wire. I want to put 20 gauge wire in it. I would like to see how I would like to see how many turns I should increase to put 20 gauge wire on it, please help me.
sir give me a tip... where I do find a free wiring diagram of power tools like grinder etc.. and I saw your video it is very interesting and guided to me so I m really want to learn how to rewind the armature of power tools cause I have my own . god blessed and keep safe. thank you for your helpful videos.. i give you 10 star...
I have a Makita HR 2020 with the defective rotor. the angle you use is the real one or it is indicative. The angle could not be observed because he had a thick and colorless chile. Please tell me if you know the right angle.
@@JakeMarvinVillegas my father had a Black and Decker angle grinder, it was junk almost 2years now he said the armature was burn and need to rewind.. he had 2 new grinder thats why he dont need it.
Bob, I actually mentioned in the video that you need to strip the insulation before you wound it in the commutator bar in an actual repair of the armature.
Hey bud :) So I'm curious why the diagram of this rotor is like that: at the start, why did you go 3 distances to the left to make a start connection? What's the reason behind it / whats the benefit of it ? :) and when you started: * commutator_segment_1_side_A goes in (matching armature segment) "like you said one loop" * commutator_segment 2 & 3_side_A goes in (matching armature segment) but when you switched the side (lets say from side A to side B)? is the rule same ? that 'just "starting/first" commutator_segment_1_side_B -> goes in one matching armature segment? Usually, in your videos, I've seen, like 2 commutators in one segment -> if it is 24/12 or: 3 commutator is one segment if it is 36/12 :) this video is kinda hard to track, because of the light and too fast but still rocks and this diagram is hard by itself too. THANKS :D I'm learning this, so I kinda want to understand...Thanks
Hello Sjen, yes both sides have the same rules and yes there is a little bit of advantage. Always remember to do the same segment and slot configuration in both sides to prevent mistakes in rewinding. If you start 2 segments and 2 windings in 1 slot or 1 segment 1 winding in 1 slot or even 3 segments 3 windings in 1 slot then do the same on the other side. The advantage of this is that it lessen the bulging effect of the wires resulting from the starting windings. However, this is a matter of preference.
Ah by the way, this is common practice in 24/12 armatures. If you do have the time, I recommend to examine these kinds of armatures by sight and you will see the last windings of each sides complements the starting connections.
Bro jake..while your video is playing, please put some diagrams in the video so all the new beginners can learned more and identify the connection, thank you GOD bless..

hello Albert, did you follow the original commutator connections(diagram)? the Angle grinder diagram may be different to the wood planer diagram.
For Angle grinder I applied this, I follow this, but same problem..strong spark...I surrender better buy brandnew armature...

Is it really 22? Then 22/22... i thought 22, 18/18, 18/18, ... 14.
Good job Jake ❤❤😊

If 30 turns can fit you should try, if it can fit more you should put more
Good explanation wish i will try to do the same
You can do it!
Good explain . thanks sir
Disculpe la pregunta puedo confiar en este diagrama
Nice imformation in how to make diagram ...thank you i like big💛💛💛💛🤝👇👍👍☝️
Is it the same diagram to be use for other brand like bosch?

Pl come to my point the reason behind start from 3rd sigment why pl explain me
Good day sir, it is based from the original winding. Other types of power tools may differ from this starting point

Hi Jake how many turns is the Makita armature
110V?
Thats for 220 volts sir. 110 volts would have bigger copper wires
Ótimo vídeo, só ficou com muita luz no vídeo. 👍
Whate angle model?!
Anung model nito boss 9556 ba?
Nako na limot ko na boss ang tagal na kasi
Very nice
Hi Jake, may i ask about how many commutator segments and slots??
Hello there The Nebulizer, its a 24 segment and 12 slots armature.
@@JakeMarvinVillegas hi jake thank you :)
@@JakeMarvinVillegas my father had a Black and Decker angle grinder, it was junk almost 2years now he said the armature was burn and need to rewind.. he had 2 new grinder thats why he dont need it.
i ask my father if it is ok to him, i will try to fix the grinder and i will research on how to fix the problem of that grinder... hope i can lol :)
Your welcome @The Nebulizer
The wire is insulated with enamel, so how is a connection made to the commutator without stripping the enamel?

Good job,
15:00 Where's the next step?
Nice Sir.but I don't understand 36segments 12slots.Please tell me too thang
The procedure is the same Mony but the way to secure the wires on the commutator is a little different and hard
why three to the left from the starting point
that would be because of how the armature is designed sir. it varies from brand and type
I like it
thanks Kamran, You are helping my channel grow ;)
Angle grinder Bosch Gws7-115 armature winding data
you should have layout diagram before start the rewinding, how many slots per segment, no. of poles and no. of turns per segment.,
Yeah sorry about that mate, got problems editing this one. Dont worry I will make a better vid next time.
Bro jake..while your video is playing, please put some diagrams in the video so all the new beginners can learned more and identify the connection,
thank you GOD bless..
I follow you, I try in armature of wood planer, the rotation is wrong...im very dissapoint, another failure to my work...
Try reversing the connection of the field coil to the carbon brush Albert
Good and nice
Better put number in armature stats and the commutator very easily follow
Yeah, I'll put numbers in my future videos

Hello
Voice not clear.
No undertans
Please explain it in Tagalog so that I can understand
Dont worry sir i will make new videos in filipino
