it's Gerstaecker paper from Le Géant des Beaux Arts (a chain of art supply stores). it comes in a block of 25cm x 25cm sheets, 250 count, 70gsm. It's a nice sketching paper that we find works really well for teaching classes as there's lots of squares and they fold well.
I know Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I love any tricks you can give me!
Hey,Eric it's me Peter you know from the origami meeting! Anyways,I made Hyperbolic Parabolas from octagons, pentagons, and hexagons from 32 grid pleats!
Mónica Zúñiga - thinner paper makes it easier to be precise, but stiffer paper will hold its shape better. Also, you might consider noticing the grain of the paper, and maybe trying out some paper without a consistent grain.

None of the above - how do you make them out of pentagons?
Is there a way to exaggerate one side so that this design could become a table base?
If you make it from a regular hexagon, you’ll have 3 points on the floor, three points holding the tabletop.
What gsm is the paper you are using?
More such videos. Very well explained. Thankyou
