I've had 2. The RJ11 connector broke, and I lost my second ( Fluke clone) in a flood but it lasted until the flood.
I've since bought a used Tempo set. It's better in every way. No cheap plastic toy grade crap

A fairly good overview of the features, but one minor comment about recording technique: zoom out a bit, and don't wave the camera around so much, it makes it more difficult to follow what you're trying to demonstrate.

I'll probably remake this video eventually. Sorry, I have a tripod, and a better camera, but I was too excited to make this video (because I had just repaired it).

@@hsl-research Hey, no worries, I was both encouraging you and also providing some constructive criticism. I enjoyed the video, and your enthusiasm came across very well! ☺

Thabk you for the video. My dad left me one of these, but it isnt working.
Can you tell me where the 9 volt battery would be located ?
I found the smaller round battery, but it look twice as thick as a normal one. Thats the only one I saw as I didnt want to dig to deep into the electronics of the device.
Ill try to get a serial number of identification number for you if you need one.
But again thank you for the video
Hope your staying safe out there.
    ✌ ✝ ❤

The 9v battery is located on the bottom back cover of the butt set. It should say “BATTERY” on it. The CR2032 sized battery is mounted on the circuit board itself.

Good video. I'm just getting started in telecommunications and I have one of these Harris butsets. My question is this: If there is a bridge clip installed on the circuit I want to test ( and I'm testing a 2 wire circuit), do I have to remove the bridge clip before connecting my buttset?

Depends on the circuit. Most of the time you shouldn’t have to, but remember that the line will still be connected to whatever phone or phone system.

Yes! There is another video on my channel that shows a demo of it.
