- Back to School Haul (For Teachers) Is it already time to go Back to School? As teachers, it's common to want to make your classroom look as organised as possible. Over the years I have collected lots of resources that I have found to be useful for classroom prep. Take a look at the back to school haul I have created - I hope that it will be useful for teachers!

Please could you do a first year teacher must have videos. So items you HAVE to have to survive your first year (like a diary) and then suggested items that might be useful but not essential (like own laminator). I know each year you build what you have, but first year feels like a big investment with everything you need for the classroom
Thanks for this suggestion I might try and record it tomorrow - setting a reminder now!! So many videos I want to make for this channel. Will it be your first year coming up in September?
For Teachers unfortunately not. My first year wont be for another 2 years

I know I think I may have gone a bit OTT with the desk decorations😅😅 desk goals???
You could always line with felt if you are afraid things will fall through. However that might make it not look so cute anymore.
Good idea! Maybe once I’m in my classroom I’ll be able to find something perfect to keep in there. Hopefully I can encourage the children to keep them tidy 😅

If you turn one of those gold baskets over so the bottom is on the top then you could store scissors in the holes☺️
Such a good idea! I will be trying this soon and seeing how it looks. It was the cutest resource to buy ever and yet it’s not very practical 😅😅

Currently I am teaching High School but this video makes me want to go to elementary School so badly. I miss the little ones. 🙁 I have taught upper elementary in the summer for 3 years and did my internship in Grade 2. Elementary comes with its ups and downs but I love the energy and creativity that comes with them.
Oh, I just found out your channel and I'm pretty excited of it! This haul, even from last year, inspired a lot for things I need/want for my class.

It’s from a shop in the UK called House of Fraser. It’s lovely isn’t it! Wish I could take it with me but it technically belongs to my mum 😅
You could put spare tape in one of the golden boxes and sticky notes on the other xx

Hi Katie, no worries! Yes the videos are great for new teachers and thank you! - If you have any advice on mixed ability seating and how to make it work that would be great:) I have always been told at uni this is best but I’ve never actually seen it used on placement and would like to give it a go! I will be taking my NQT year here in London but I am interested in teaching at an international school in a couple of years time so its been great hearing about your time in Hong Kong :) Abi
