Stellenbosch ch Music, Mickman is an Amapiano music man with roots deeply solid on the fertile ground of house music. His chord progressions and drum patterns are smooth and melodic. His vernac vocals are a colourful reminder of how gorgeous the South African linguistic landscape is. He makes relatable music that does not rely on the log drum to be relevant. This is a musician blessed with rhythm and melodies laced with underlying airy pads. But make no mistake, he also gets heavy and deep with the bass simply showing off his diversity and Kasi flavor.
