Hey guys! Today is another episode from my series Thrift Store Makeovers, where I take a used, worn out item (OR sometimes from yard sales or off of ebay) clean it up, fix it up and decorate it. I love hunting through thrift stores to find old, rejected items and then decorating them and putting my own style on them to turn them into new pieces of art. I've definitely missed these thrift flips and I want to do more thrifting soon.

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh) Elizabeth and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 29 and like doing creative activities (mostly painting on things), or really anything that gives me an excuse to use rainbows, sprinkles and my own cutesy characters in excess. I'm heavy into editing, so my video are chalk full of sound effects, filters and lil....moments, or as we like to call them "MEmes." I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and various other items I find. I also love to draw, traditionally and digitally. I'm not the most skilled artist out here, but I like to focus on having fun with creativity and being able to laugh at my own mistakes.

Tip time for Moriah! You can use sand paper once
the clay is dry to get a very smooth and even surface!

You could make a apartment building and in each room you could have a character in it and the room could be themed after that character.You could also put it next to your blue coach if you have space

A piece of advice for next time, if you have a piece of wood with many holes you can use wood putty, wait a day for it to dry, then you can use sand paper to sand it down 👍

2:53 wood filler would probably work a little better, it’s pretty easy to use and you can sand it down and paint it up real nice. Not sure how it would behave with clay on top though.

Ok, yeah, the Pickle paint caddy turned out pretty cute, but I kinda wanted it to keep the holes and be an art/crayon caddy for Mini-Me. The big section could have held a notepad, the closer together holes for the crayons and the separate hole for one of those chubby kindergarten pencils. Oh well, it's all good.
You should paint/decorate your stand mixer for your baking series.
