Dan Yu & Lau Yee Yeung (harps) City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong conducted by Robert Reimer Performed at the Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall on 01 September 2022
Parish-Alvars did not compose the orchestra parts. I think I heard it was Mendelssohn. Parish-Alvars's music remains highly decorative and insubstantial, like wedding cake. He was no creative genius, just a technical one, perhaps.
The gut strings in the treble have no projection of tone. Surprisingly, the Style 23 Gold has a much bigger sound than the Salzedo model, which might be less mature.
Harp soloists need to be on a podium to amplify and help project their tone. The orchestra is consistently too loud, the balance is off. The conductor should have controlled that more. It's not a piano concerto.

Excellent trilling en deux!
