To say Jesus is powerless is the truth, for Jesus said it himself in John 5:30, John 8:28. Jesus is possessed by the Father’s power and spirit, and it is the Father who does all things through his Son (Proverbs 8:22-36). In John 17:3, Jesus also said “and this is life eternal, that they might know YOU the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” All who change this are calling both God [the Father] and Jesus liars, and they will be cast into everlasting fire for all eternity. Jesus is not God.
