Book knowledge about America is not the same as on the ground. If you rely on what you have learned on TH-cam and books alone, without the input of the experience burger/s, you are bound to make some very costly elementary mistakes. I was a seasoned 5 years Europe hustler before I arrived in America in the 80s and I hit the ground running fast. I married and papered in under 8 months, but I still listened to the old burgers that came before me! All nationalities do that with the newcomers! They show them some of the ropes.

I would comment from the perspective of a woman. I have realised that some men who live abroad are so prideful and disrespectful towards women who live in Ghana or Africa. They often look down on such women and instead of identifying the values in them, all their attention is on how much they spent to bring them overseas. It is always, I brought her and she left. What about how you talked down on her or disregarded her just because you brought her overseas? Mutual respect is so necessary for relationship to last. Let's value people over money

The most important thing is to keep your eyes on the prize. Listen to your instinct & have a plan. Most importantly, obey the laws & don’t use short cuts.

Sometimes you will know the person in and out it will still not work. The character of the person is more important than the circumstance. You can meet someone you never knew and it will still work.
