I think Suzy was more of a popular girl after her acting breakthrough but not an IT-Girl. While I don't find Yoona to be THAT pretty (imo, subjective opinion), she still is the standard for Korean beauty. She was the reason this K-beauty standard was made and still is used as comparison to anyone in the visual field. SNSD was also one of the biggest GG to that time.
