Loved walking through your garden this time of year to watch how you prune back plants in order to have more blooms in the fall. Would love to be there in person at this time to learn all the tricks to making a garden look better. Sometime, as our gardens "tire", so do we and we need that new start and hope for more beauty to come in the future. Thanks for bringing us along and educating us along the way!

Your home and gardens are everybody’s dream! So many beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees. The view of the river is amazing with all the beauty surrounding it. I love the pink salvia. Will be getting some of those seeds. Just a nice bright pop of color! Thanks for letting us walk through your garden with you.
    Happy Day!🌻💕🦋🌸🦜☀️🐝

So beautiful and a garden that helps wildlife especially pollinators. I think I am hearing Tinkling Ground Crickets under your Muscadine tunnel and beyond. Find their song so soothing and evocative in late summer and fall. Thanks so much Allen for how you cultivate lovely beauty and a gentle thoughtfulness into the world, which so desperately needs it now.

The West Terrace is such a beautiful area. Thanks for the tour. Zinnias, sunflower and marigold seeds do germinate quite quickly in Trinidad.👍🌼🌻🌸

Thanks for the tour. Just this morning I opened my container that hold my seed packets. Laid them all out for this fall/spring sowing and come to realize that I will not have enough room in my raised beds. I may have to I do some container gardening. This will be the first fall planting in my new raised beds and I can't wait.

I have a huge loosestrife plant that several species of bumblebees love as do the Japanese beetle so a few times in the morning and evening I go out with my rubber gloves and pick the beetles off the plant and the bumblebees just buzz around me. I make sure I wear my reading glasses to I don’t pick the wrong insect.

You might find crazy, mwe have princess feathers in Virginia and every year they reach 6 to 8 feet fall. My neighbor who loves them, which I really dont care for them due to the bee activity they bring, says its the highest she has ever seen those plants grow.

Hi Allen. In one of your previous videos you featured Heritage raspberries. I have some Heritage plants that are beginning to set fruit now in their first year. My question is, since they are an “everbearing” type, would I cut back the canes that fruited this year in the winter? I can’t find any info online on caring for this variety so hoping you have advice. Thanks!

Does your flowering quince get fruit? Mine has a couple on them I wasn't sure if it's alright to eat and if they are when or how to harvest them.

Some are listed as a sphinx moth which is the tomato horn worm or tobacco horn worm, which is quite big if you've had any on a tomato plant munching your leaves off.
