Dumpster fire spreads to 3 businesses in downtown Visalia

  • A restaurant went up in flames after a dumpster fire spread to the building in downtown Visalia on Sunday evening.
    Around 4:30 p.m., crews from the Visalia Fire Department responded to the area of Main and Floral streets after several people called 911 to report a fire.
    When firefighters arrived, they found heavy flames coming from Alejandra’s Restaurant, just a couple of doors down from the historic Visalia Fox Theater.

    I live on the other side of town and even we could see the piller of smoke. There was a fire across the street in 2018 that was similar that displaced three other businesses, the case was ruled a Grease fire started in the roof of Mamma Ks, but I think that case should be reopened in lite if this recent fire.
