16th April 2024 Castle Combe Track Day With Opentrack in my Locost R1. A couple of spins for Steve

My first track day of 2024. My mate Steve came along and we alternated driving. It started off cold and windy but brightened although a couple of heavy showers spoiled the fun a bit. During Steve's first session a brake hard line fractured while braking into Tower leaving all the force going through just the rears so he was thrown around! Managed to replace the pipe in the paddock (thanks Merlin Motorsport!) and brakes bled and back out for a session before lunch break. After lunch Steve was caught out in hail/rain on slicks. He took it easy for a few laps as the track dried out then tried to push a bit but found there were still some damp bits! I was a few seconds off my best times but I'll put that down to being a bit rusty and maybe the cold and wind.
