    At 15:55, where you draw two stress-strain diagrams, one for Al., one for steel, WHY DON'T YOU LABEL THE DIAGRAMS? There's just a heading on top, which says "Al vs steel", but doesn't help you identify which is which.

    Dear Mr Pancholi
    As you told that in case of Al, yield point is obtained by drawing parallel to straight line at 0.2% offset. Is it not applicable for steel?

      0.2% elongation is applicable for ductile materials other than mild steel .

      It's applicable for all those materials who don't display yield point clearly.

    Is toughness , the total area under the stress-strain curve or total area under only the plastic region of the curve?

      Toughness is the area under the load-deformation curve of mild steel not that of S-S curve...
      Area under SS curve is called Modulus of Toughness (not Toughness)
