Unfortunately I think it's too late for him to take it off. It's integral to his image now, and clearly would appear to be an emotional crutch that he needs. IMO you're 100% right though. He'd be just as amazing without the preposterous dead badger on his bonce.
I wanted to go to this one. But initially it was in SW3 where there is no seating. I didn't find out it moved to the 02 till it was too late. This was my last chance to see Numan doing his old stuff 😭😭
