Just came back from my very first trip to Disney world. Epcot was my very first day and very first park of Disney world. I walked in seeing the big dome. Hearing this. Burst into tears. Large potion of it was 100% this beautiful music's fault. After 20+ years of dreaming of coming to Disneyworld, I'm finally here and the magic begins right now. 2 magical weeks later, Epcot was my last day before I fly home. Listening to it again now back in the UK, I'm on a bus and can't lift my head up because everyone will see my face is just wet.
Was at Epcot Dec 2023 right after my grandfather died. I was next to mission space with my almost 2 year old at the time while waiting for my wife and then 6 year old. There was a moment that I will always remember where I sat while my son roamed safely where I could see him. The absolute joy and just pure happiness I could see in him in that moment and then he sprinted to me and hugged me so tightly. This music was in the background and I had this flood of emotions that I couldn't explain and nearly broke down crying...it was honestly one of my most beautiful memories as a father and something I'll forever cherish. I've been back to Epcot 3 times and each time I hear this music, I'm overwhelmed with emotion and wonder. I've always loved Epcot, but it hits different for me now.
This is genuinely great. The theme is memorable and feels ethereal and futuristic with a level of magic too. I love when it drifts into various country/culture sounds and then the theme comes back in those settings. Gonna be listening to this a lot
Just got back from a trip and this was by far my favorite music loop I heard. I actually got emotional listening to it in the park while looking at my family.
Thanks for posting this! I really, really like this new music. It's funny because I said a few times that I'd love to hear a whole music loop using the Beacon Show as inspiration with Pinar's excellent theme, and here it is!
This is a great background loop. It's hard to not let my love of the old Epcot music loops negatively impact my feelings, but I quite enjoy the cinematic style of this, and I really appreciate that it is original music for the park. I'm relatively unfamiliar with the composer, but this makes me want to listen to some of her other work.
They should put a shortened maybe 1 min bit of the future world(innoventions theme in this loop). It’s so iconic and big part of Epcot history. It wouldn’t hurt.
it certainly no innovations, but tbh imagine hearing the SAME background music over and over and over again decade after decade, even for someone like me whos hesitant to change, that would get very old lol
They tore down a building then rebuilt half of it, ripped out a foundation and put in a seating area and some gardens and a walk through attraction. That is far from a rebirth and it only took 4 years. Let’s not forget they are on their 3rd or 4th new fireworks show too in that time. Not good.
@@jackylsmith8138 Oh Please...I'm sorry Disney isn't the same as it was 30yrs ago. FFS stop living in the past and move on. Disney isn't always going to the same Disney of your childhood so get over it. People complain because Disney never changes and then people complain when Disney changes.
I have no problem with change itself. Yes, attractions can and should evolve and be enhanced. But Disney fundamentally changed the premise of EPCOT Center and has drifted away from the high-quality imagineering tied to that vision of inform, inspire and entertain and instead chose to focus on characters, festivals and booze. @@ducktails1695
Makes my eyes water every time I come back to this music. I just recently got the opportunity to take my kids here a few weeks ago. The music is what truly brings this place to life and hits me every time I hear it. So glad its here on TH-cam to listen anytime I need to come back to some of the happiest memories of my life. THANK YOU!
Perfect. I was kinda terrified about what this area's music was going to be, but I couldn't ask for anything better. A-fucking-plus. Thank you. I actually sat under the trees in World Celebration with big smile on my face thinking, " Look what they did with my park. I'm so proud."
I live in Nebraska west of Omaha. It’s a treat to be able to see Epcot and listen to the music and reminisce. We were there in April and I love the place so thank you for sharing. I appreciate it. I’ve made it a tradition that every single time we end our last day at Epcot and we always do spaceship earth before we leave for the airport. I take my imagining with me back home.

Just visited for first time since COVID closure. Was sitting just inside Epcot entrance and heard this music. My wife could not get me to move until I had listened to at least 20 minutes worth. Best part of the new Epcot.
I'll echo many of the other comments. I miss the Innoventions loop and still listen to it frequently, but this original composition definitely captures the optimistic vibe of EPCOT. I also love that it's original to EPCOT...bravo! Looking forward to hanging out in the World Celebration area with a coffee and soaking up the atmosphere and music.
I actually have been very pleasantly surprised by what we have seen so far of new Epcot. I did my DCP in Epcot and specifically future world so I am extremely protective of it. Everything that has come out so far feels very in spirit of Epcot and what it’s meant to be.
Sounds like they made a lot of original music for it this time, similar to the Innoventions loop which is pretty nice. I could hear the original motif of the new Epcot theme in it a good few times. First impressions are pretty positive- it fits the new theme of Epcot, although a bit too "cinematic" at points for my tastes. Oh well, it could've been far worse. I think it's a fine replacement, but it doesn't top the iconic Innoventions loop (although, that's quite a high bar to surpass)
The last time I was at Epcot was before this new music debuted, but I thought that playlist was fine. I said to myself "It's nice, but it's not the Innoventions music."
I was so prepared to be disappointed in this after how I felt about Harmonious when it debuted but everything they have released since feels very on brand and my Epcot loving DCP home loving self loves Epcot to my core
Thank you for posting this music. I tried to Shazam the music, with no luck. I really enjoy this music, makes the experience so much more pleasant and uplifting to me.
I just went to Epcot last week after not having been since 2021. I was thoroughly enchanted by this music any time I was in the area. I couldn’t get enough
2021 at least early on was a low point for Epcot- I went in June and there was no background music at all at that point due to the construction and it was breaking my heart. I’m so relieved they are getting back to the heart of epcot
I absolutely LOVE this music!!!! There's a melody in this loop that was sung in the very first song of Harmonious and I hear it all throughout this music loop. So beautiful. Thanks for sharing this!!!
I did my DCP in Epcot back in 2014 and I was in Future World so I heard the Innoventions loop all the time and it is very special to me because of that. That being said I do enjoy this loop as well!!!!
having made several trips to EPCOT in the past week i gotta say i *really* like this new loop. nothing will ever match innoventions for me but that’s okay bc this is a pretty damn good follow up
I love Pinar Toprak's work here, and the fact that it will always remind me of Harmonious (where the theme debuted) makes me smile and makes me sad at the same time. That show, especially the music, was absolutely tremendous. Between the delays, the cost to run and maintain it, and the fact that it was ugly as sin during the day - it never really had a fair chance, but I will always have fond memories of it.
I was in love with the Luminous score until the Disney/Pixar medley hit. Not that there was anything wrong with the arrangements themselves, but they are unnecessary.
@@Joes_Z-Music agreed. Parts are wonderful, but You’ve Got a Friend in Me is off putting inside of Epcot. That was not a great decision. After listing to the Slumberland soundtrack today, Pinar would have slayed the loss section of this show with piano alone. Toprak’s sound is very Thomas Newman meets Hans Zimmer, and I absolutely adore her textural choices. They needed to set her free.
Is it really an hour? That's kind of impressive. I like it but it doesn't seem connected to old EPCOT music at all. A little too cinematic and not enough synth. Not bad by any means though. Thanks for posting, WDWNT!
I don't think it's actually an hour long loop. It was hard to tell if I had reached the loop point so I recorded an hour to be safe. Also wanted to make sure I had some extra just in case I needed to go back and edit some crowd noise. It's definitely not the old EPCOT music but I enjoyed it. Nice to have an original music loop again in the park.
