Von Karma Cornered w/ Jatello's Arranged Music | Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 12 ก.ย. 2015
- Recently, I discovered a guy named Jatello had made remixes/arrangements of every music track from the first two Phoenix Wright games. And that they were stellar. So I was like, "Hmmm, what if I put these tracks onto one of my favorite moments in the series?" So I used my l33t h4xxing MLG skillz (which actually aren't that l33t or MLG) to remove the original music from the game, recorded this scene, and put the arranged tracks on top of it. This is the result.
Check out the arranged soundtracks of Phoenix Wright here:
• Phoenix Wright: Ace At...
• Ace Attorney: Justice ... - บันเทิง
I would volunteer for Jury duty if real life court was like this.
shwash the funny thing is there is no jury in this game
Its ironically a bench court.
Apollo Justice does

KONO RYU DA And speaking of von Karma family traditions, have you ever noticed how Franziska crosses her arms in the same manner as her father?
AND EDGEWORTH!
von Karma: THERES NO WAY YOU CAN PROVE I HAVE A BULLET IN MY SHOULDER.
Wright: Oh yeah? What if I had a metal detector in my pocket?
von Karma: well there’s no way you can just casually have a metal de- *OH MY GOD.*
Wright:Haha metal detector go brr
SQUIDWARD!!!!
Judge: PHOENIX WHERE DID YOU GET A METAL DETECTOR!? PUT THE TRIAL ON HOLD WHERE DID YOU GET THAT!?
You'd think the court house would have a metal detector at all entrances.
The metal detector isn't even the problem. The problem is: How da faq did he kept it in his pocket? That's like CJ's pocket.
Omitted: the 15 attempts Wright made to show off his attorney's badge.
When in doubt PROVE YOUR A LAWYER!
Imagine it actually works lol.
frozen hyena you used your profile in trials and tribulations in episode 2 to check the fingerprints on the urn because you touched it but never saw it and i thought it was useless lol
Hehehee
As my wonderful daughter Franziska would say, Wright is a foolishly foolish fool.
Out of any motivation for a murder ever, having a penalty on your trial record has got to be among the most petty i've heard about yet
Well, it sure is better than...
**SPOILERS FROM AA4**
setting up a man so he would lose his attorney's badge due to evidence forging just because he "stole" your client
There have been actual murderers who have taken lives for even less important things.
That said, Karma was a crazy motherfucker, his obsession with perfection was precisely what got him the furthest from being perfect.
I mean afterwards everyone knew von Karma was a cheater. So it kinda makes sense to Me, I'd assume his father was a Prosecutor as well I think everyone has that Malfoy interpretation of his family line and by not being perfect he's failed his father's expectations and he just can't handle the shame.
Tbf, he probably wouldn't have killed Gregory if he wasn't shot in the 1st place. As a result, it kinda just presented itself to him.
Well to be honest every motive to commit murder is pretty petty in my opinion.
The moment von Karma is named as a suspect, the whole case turns around. Phoenix is going full offense and isn't holding back, and von Karma is cornered and forced onto the defensive.
Alexandre Bourgoin He is literally *cornered*
How do you get figuratively cornered?

This whole case feels like a big comeback story. During the first trial you merely survive von Karma. In the second you hold him off before going after his witness. Then in the third you finally get your shot at the man himself. Overall this was a great climax to the story and by far one of the most satisfying conclusions to a game I’ve seen.
Legends say that there is still a dent on the wall behind the prosecutors.
The room was completely redesigned between T&T and AJ and again for DD, so the dent would've been removed from that particular courtroom.

Von Karma literally sweating and afraid of Phoenix was the best part of the case for me. He had dismissed my objections, sabotaged the evidence, and threatened Phoenix's life. Seeing this guy squirm made me jump with joy
Seeing a man who has used fear to oppress an entire judicial system for 40 years finally taste terror...

Manfred von Karma = Man freed from karma
I never understood this one
Von Karma truly is an evil man. He killed a man while he was unconscious, raised his son, led him to follow in his own footsteps, and then tried to frame that same boy for not only the murder of a defense attorney, but also, his own father. He brought his little "Edgeworth curse" upon himself.
Well, the villain in Soul of Justice is far more evil then
@@aldi_nh u mean spirit of justice?
@@blakecook9266 yes

I disagree Von Karma didn't forge evidence that day with the case of Gregory Edgeworth. The real suspect had actually GIVEN HIM FORGED EVIDENCE!!!! When he was walking away angrily, he saw The Man who so called gave him his curse And not controlling his anger shot him. Also it was Yanni Yogi who actually framed him for murder, he even though had feelings for him was forced to proscecute to maintain his record

Within his first few months of being a rookie attorney, Wright managed to:
* Solve a case that no other attorney (not even his mentor, Mia) could solve
* Take down the King of Prosecutors, who remained undefeated for 40 years straight. He didn't just defeat him in a case, he flat out had him sentenced for murder.
* Defend himself in court when Redd White tried to accuse him of murdering Mia Fey, even when the odds were stacked against him.

I mean half the time that's really all Phoenix does. He's a prosecutor in disguise as a defense attorney. A lot of his cases should end at proving that the defendant is innocent, I.E., Will Powers for instance, but nah, Phoenix doesn't like leaving things go unsolved.
@@Rad-Dude63andathird The only time that Phoenix didn't sentenced anyone was when he had to defend Matt Engarde which was indirectly the murderer.
This is literally a set of static sprites, and yet it is probably one of the greatest culminations in the history of gaming
Seriously, Maya was the first one to pick up on the fact that von Karma was probably the murderer in DL-6. And yet she receives absolutely no acknowledgement or credit for the idea.
What the heck Phoenix? Her self-esteem is horrifically low at this point! Sure, you came up with the idea of how the murder took place, but Maya identified the culprit from a completely wild idea and was right!
She did much more than steal that decisive evidence from von Karma!
She had one heckuva way to get it figured out. The defense team would get credited for their actions in incriminating von Karma for DL-6. Gregory would be proud of Phoenix, as he was basically a family friend to him.
True she knew he was the murderer but she didn’t know HOW he could have done it. Phoenix was the one who took her hunch and went balls to the walls ham on it. He was the one who pinned him to the crime, and showed how it was possible.
I’m not saying Maya wasn’t helpful as she was fucking incredible, but she was more a supporter who had a hunch while Phoenix was the one charging ahead and figuring the whole case out.
Maya's got the gut feeling while Phoenix has the wits. Both of them at their full power make even the most experienced of prosecutors (and fellow defense attorneys) shiver.
He does credit her after the trial for saving the last bit of evidence to prove that it was von Karma.

My favorite moment in probably the series is the moment Phoenix Wright first brings up his accusation of Manfred formally. Everyone is stunned, he can only stammer it out, and Manfred... is just smiling like an evil bastard. It's like he knows he's met an equal at last.
9:09 most satisfying part
The noises he makes are just...
Probably the best moment out of the entire original 2001 game.
The best moment in the entire Trilogy imo
