      I have used Sculp Wood in past to fill in cracks and repairs when making Native American Type branch flutes. This quick wood would be great if I ever decided to fully decorate a branch flute after it was fully aged and properly tuned. I see a Dragon flute in the future.. The Quick Wood would also be great to apply to a totem piece ( that is the part on top of the air way that makes the air passage sound on a NA type flute. You make a flat wood mount and then put the quick wood design on top. Tejasmed

    This is a amazing product. Do you know if quikwood stick to melamine? Thank you

    • @Miriamjoy123

      What I would do is apply some E6000 on the melamine or bottom of the part of QuikWood that I am going to attach to the melamine. For example, if I was applying QuikWood with a mold, I would put the QuikWood in the mold and apply some (not to much) E6000 to the bottom part showing and then press the mold on to the melamine. If the mold did not come out right, just kneed the E6000 into the QuikWood and try again. Reapplying the QuikWood again. With this process the QuikWood would hold the "clay" in place and the E6000 would need 24 hours to dry and cure.

    Do you put a sealer on this after it drys?

    • @Miriamjoy123
      @Miriamjoy123  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, seal it like you would a gourd or wood.

    Small piece of PVC pipe makes a good roller as well.

      I think the vegetable oil on your hands would make it slick. Otherwise, it would work well. Thank you, Miriam Joy

      @@Miriamjoy123 - I didn't post anything about vegetable oil, only about using PVC pipe if you didn't have a wood dowell.
