if it's like Hathway or digiflip then it will be useful in both ways but without tv channels I don't think it's that great because in every smart tv u can surf n watch videos moreover for that price they are giving a lot
You can definitely watch TV channels on this, but you do require a decent internet connection for that. The way this is different from a smart tv is that 1. it is much simpler to use, 2. you can download content on this, 3. cheaper :), 4. You get top notch curated content from the internet, 5. Stream torrents
What cpu it has.. Does this have Google casting like in "Chromecast and Nvidia Shield TV has" ? And also the does it support HDMI-CEC.. ? Can it get marshmallow in future updates..
