As an artist dealing with a disability it can be easy to fall into complacency. It is far from where I want to be and I'm striving to glorify God with the talents He has given me yet I know I can do better. Your song is spot on. Not to mention the artistic merit on many levels over and above what you have done in the past. I love the multi tracks. You have a great team of people. I pray Christ uses this to call His children to action out of our prayer closets. It is way past time for many of us to ask and seek, we need to get busy and start putting His plan into motion and do the knocking in the power of God the Holy Spirit. Thank you for your obedience to your calling. By the way, I had no idea you were an American Idol contestant in your early years. Nice audition lol. You could have gone into any genre yet you chose Christ. That is a win.

@@Terrian Amen. Aside from the jooy of experience and success here, none of this will compare to the heavenly rewards waiting for you in heaven. I was actually very successful as a Publisher and real estate investor at one point and I can tell you from experience the hope I have for eternal glory and the peace I have in Christ now far outweigh the constant pressure I experienced working 10-12 hour days and phony "friends" that were part and parcel of the world's definition of success. There is a reason people in the business world have lawyers on retainer. You made a very wise decision, and are missing out on NOTHING. As Paul put it, "I count it all as but loss", well, I believe he used another word, lol. You may find as you become more successful and should the Lord bless you financially the need to be shrewd in choosing your friends as many will want to be close to you to climb the social ladder, as well as to sell you their services and products and nothing more, and it will be difficult to tell the genuine friends at times apart from the real one's. Sometimes it is better to have a few close friends than a lot of friends who are what are known as "fair-weather" friends. As un-Christian as this may sound, I am speaking in regards to true friendships, not people you work with or have to do business with. Just don't confuse the two. Of course, people you work with can become the best of friends. Sadly, when it comes down to brass tax or money, or when it gets tight, the so-called "friends" seem to disappear and this leads to a lot of hurt feelings and even depression. I sure learned who my true family and friends were after the last real estate market crash. I can tell you it was a very small percentage of those surrounding me during the good times. Yes, many church-going people included. Lesson learned. Many successful Christian artists and leaders have experienced this as well. Thanks for the words of encouragement. You have a very bright future ahead of you. God bless.
