hi! I just wanted to say that I LOVE your stuff! I've only found your channel a while ago but! I love how much info you put into your videos :D it has helped me a-lot {since I have never has a ferret before but I am planning on to} I hope you have a wonderful day and stay safe! 💗💗
I really appreciate your informative content. I don't have any experience with ferrets, but I am considering getting a couple. Your videos are helpful as I am trying to do research so that I can properly care for my future fuzzies.
Yay 3 outta 4 furtts !! Had my bag handy !! Looks good . But I do rotational feedings ! And LOVE that . Thery eat soupie WITH grinds in it . And canned ziwi plus my kibble is down always BUT they get canned and grinds in soupie!😚😁
I have a question so you said in the last video That it’s good to change out the food so can I do 1 type of food for on month then the next month a new type and then the same type of food as the first month for the third month and do like a abababab patern and also can I put water in the kibble so it is more hydrating if that makes sense 😁
I just saw this video and it's been on my mind to try and use the rotation method but my babies are 3 year's old im not sure if it can happen can you give me some help on trying this.????I tried to have them on a raw diet right from the beginning for a half of year they all just turned there heads from any of the food .im in a loop .??
I use ziwi peak they also have a dehydrate kibble too . My 5 eat soupie grind raw too So I'm getting THERE working on RAW but only chicken they like so far !
Hi Kenya, thanks for the video. Suuuperinteresting! One question: if theres a max of 40% protein, another max of 40% fat and a final lets say 4% fiber on a DMB... whats the remaining 16%???
it isn't a max of 40% of either of them. The 35-40% protein and 20-40% fat is just where I think your starting point should be and then after that you'd adjust according to how your ferrets react. But you're right that it's not going to add up to 100%. The rest of it will be carbs and fillers, which I'll be talking more about next video 😊
Have you been through a proper transition? Most ferrets will refuse raw if it's just handed to them and they need to go through a multi step process. This is the one I followed: holisticferretforum.com/natural-diet/making-the-switch/
@@FriendlyNeighborhoodFerrets thank you. Mine are rescues, I want then to have the best life they can. I don't know what the previous owner fed them. But it wasn't the greatest diet, the both had hair missing, were shy, had runny poop, the vet got them to the point where they could come home with me. It been a long ride, but they have their hair back and are very social now but I want the best diet for them. I will fallow the process. Wish me luck.
If you live with your parents and they don't want you to get ferrets, there's nothing you can do. I've wanted ferrets since I was about 10, but my mom didn't want me to get any so I waited until I moved out to get them. Spend this time doing as much research as possible on them so that when you're able to get them you'll be ready
@@FriendlyNeighborhoodFerrets do you have a video on how you got your ferrets ? I seen Lyra video sad glad she's with you . But how about your first set . How 2nd pair came ? Love your vids and babies

@@FriendlyNeighborhoodFerrets Great, thanks a lot again.
Their other favourites are my good leather boots especially if they contain my expensive orthodics
Question, my ferrets won't eat raw food, not fish, not duck, not chicken...nothing raw. How can I get them to try it?
